  • In this case it's insulin which means they are at least extremely small in length.

Mostly you barely notice then sometimes you forget to rotate injection site and jab into a bruise.

Think there is a use by, but they're sealed and still comfy so I'd rather they didn't go to waste.

  • May seem like the dumbest thing but here's the win of the week:

My preferred needles have had a supply shortage since 2022...

The manufacturer won't supply 100 packs or give any ETA on when the shortage will end.

The needle cap is uniquely different in a way that makes it way more comfortable. Went down the route of 3d printing little pieces to compensate for the difference with a friend but it was a lot of bother and eventually just put up with the less comfortable needles.

Found a pack of the old ones cleaning my locker at work... been living the high life working through those.

Stopped off at the pharmacy on the way home from a movie and they have some random needle brand that I've never heard of making them the more comfortable way.

I'm so excited, it's literally made my whole night!!!!

  • Mr Inbetween is an excellent Aussie show. Haven't found anything else that captures our culture so well.

Not sure where the bar sits for obscure / under the radar. There's plenty of more popular shows I normally recommend.

Keeping it less known I guess:

Sense8 - slow start but cool concept

The goes wrong show - brilliant little piece of British theatre humour. Some great recurring gags

And second another commenter's recommendation of you're the worst as a good laugh.

  • Bit of a quiet one this week...

I managed to catch the tail end of my coach competing in a judo comp.

Missed the individual 😔 but here's a snap from the team round. (Judo is not his primary sport, so it was also really cool to see him outside of comfort zone)

  • I'm on the other side of this one.

If wealthy parents want to pay for an education that's fine but when more taxpayer money goes to private schools than public it feels a bit off.

Temporary increase in funding and long phase out would help mitigate the issue.

It's like the amount of money we put into subsidising private healthcare. I get why private exists and wouldn't want it to go away overnight but why not properly fund public instead.

I'm going to stop now before I go down the do things like Norway rabbit hole

    Election: party policies

Anyone found a good source for policy summaries for all the minor parties and independents this year?

Haven't found anything that covers the upper house this time around.
