All they're doing is adding rel="me" to featured links on Threads account pages, I don't see what issue this creates tbh.

Speaking of different names for each account, I really like your name and instance combo!

"Maybe, eventually finding a way to consistently open links to other instances/services in a way that opens it in your preferred instance/service"
This already exists as a TamperMonkey script iirc

Currently using Lawnchair 12.1 and their icon set, and I'm quite happy with it!

...It doesn't really have that ring to it, does it?

make bad decision that screws over most if not all of their platform's userbase
give the same userbase a canvas to draw on

Ah, I see.

Is that your own art? If so, nice job!

Nope, typing this with buttons on a virtual keyboard right now! I mainly use a desktop for most of the day, so I just prefer using the same system on mobile too.

I don't browse it (I have a redirector rule that links me right out of Reddit), but if I need to access it for something, I just tack on old.
as a bypass.

Yikes... I hope you find your way out of that hole, maybe starting over may help? I know seperate channels on the same account have different recommended pages, so that might work.

Google Apps are like junk food, bad for your health/privacy, but very good in taste/product otherwise.
Think about it, Google Maps is (I think) the biggest collection of map data and information on locations everywhere around the world, yet I don't want an advertising company knowing that I just went to a fast food place.
YouTube is an endless trove of video content that anyone can contribute to, yet I'd much rather not give an advertiser information on every little interest that I have in video.
It's so bad for you, but it's so good.

Ah, I understand, it's hard to get new terms into your system that quickly.

I think, in this case, OP was trying to say that the site could help you find Lemmy communities based on the rules and topics of a subreddit, as the site lists Threadiverse communities (Lemmy and Kbin) and servers in messaging apps such as Discord and the Matrix network under the names of subreddits, like [email protected] under r/196

I always thought of it as Sub Rehabitation, like changing where the sub lives, and .rehab would be the closest TLD for it.

Yeah, the post is missing its newlines. If the post correctly used newlines, new paragraphs, and better markdown overall, it would probably look like: ::: spoiler The post, but correctly marked down.
please incorporate the word rule in your post titles
Here are the things that get you banned:
- saying anything remotely iffy with a lemmygrad account
- tankie behaviour
- nazi behaviour
- authoritarian behaviour
- genocide denial
- prejudice of any kind
- anything else that is clearly bad
Things that get your post/comment removed:
- anything in the banlist
- posts that are so off topic/moldy that they don't fit on 196 at all (very rare, not usually enforced)
Ban length varies, and is mostly based off of whether or not I think you will change your behavior. I have baned certain people for upwards of 200 days.
EDIT: NSFW RULES
- NSFW Content is now fully permitted BUT it must be tagged.
- Any NSFW content that has not been tagged and blurred will be removed.
- Content warnings should also be added to the title in brackets. Example: [penis] or: [explicit description of sex].
- Non-sexualized breasts of any gender are not considered inappropriate and therefore do not need to be blurred/tagged. Yes, even female breasts.
- IRL GORE IS NOT PERMITTED UNDER ANY CONDITION.
Please leave any suggested edits in the comments. :::

Are there any good moderation bots on Lemmy yet?

Ah, thank you!

How do I unmod myself?
I'd like to know this for future reference. I currently own [email protected] and I would like to be able to transfer it to the mods over at r/lgballt if they ever ask for the community. If and when that happens, I'd like to know how to unmod myself/transfer the community so that they don't have to trust some rando who made a community on Lemmy for them.
EDIT: BrikoX replied and said "Find a post of yours click ...
and there will remove as mod
option."
