Opinion - What are your thoughts on password managers? Do you use one? Would you recommend it to others?

  • Been trying to set up passbolt for days now and can't get it to work on Ubuntu server

    • late stage capitalism doesn't rule

  • Capitalism is dead. This is techno-feudalism

    • Outlook suddenly started opening links in Edge, disregarding my default browser settings

  • Only at work

    • YSK: Your Lemmy activities (e.g. downvotes) are far from private

  • I have extensive experience with complying with GDPR and I feel like they wouldn't care that it is decentralized. They'd go after Lemmy as a whole and anyone involved. Having to request your data wiped from each instance is not something they are going to accept.
