There's nothing wrong with using Reddit, Twitter, and other mainstream site still while being active on fediverse.

  • I think it's gonna take a few more incidents on Reddit if we really want users to migrate to the Fediverse. Right now a bulk of the migrations are happening as the 3PAs had died, but we'll see how much of the momentum will be kept.

    • Lemmy.world (and some others) were hacked

  • I think it's good practice to change passwords after an attack no matter what

    • Dutch government starts own Mastodon instance as reaction to the instability of Twitter

  • More like it tried to forcibly merge the instances

    • Lemmy.world and another instance have been compromised

  • I don't see any weird content, but I couldn't log in. There's a notification at the bottom that says "logged in" but I'm still blinded by light mode.

    • It’s bots all the way down at kindle unlimited

  • Just a heads up, I think you should remove the exclamation points in your links, it resulted in a 404 for me before I removed them.
