  • For the benefit of others:

    $24.95

  • Yeah that's what I experienced, and the people out front use the spray to dislodge any chunks holding on.

  • Leaf blower would never work. A literal broom often doesn't work.

  • Yeah I'm new to getting my car washed, but I don't see any tipping, don't see a tip jar, etc.

  • The second part makes sense, but the first part sounds black and white. In reality, extra snow doesn't fall off going a few blocks down the road at 25 mph. But it will be a hazard if going onto a faster road or longer drive.

  • Ah ok, mine doesn't have towels.

  • I can remove a lot of the snow before driving, but it is difficult to get it all off. The carwash is right down the street from me so the snow melting and falling off at low speed in transit is not likely.

Assuming it is safe and not rude to get to the carwash, is it ok to go through with snow snow still on the vehicle?

  • I didn't realize this was a tipped position... The carwash is very expensive already :/

  • I'm thinking of that one with the black and white monkey with human teeth.

  • It's really not fair that episodes of psychosis are brain damaging.

  • I'm curious what the female / non-binary version of this is, because being distracted by someone's attractiveness in an inappropriate context and trying to navigate the situation and/or think about something more appropriate is relatable to me.

One thing that has helped me is, "the thoughts that enter your mind come from all over: society, media, your experiences, etc. You have to process a lot, and not all of it is nice. So don't judge yourself based on the content of your thoughts, but on how you choose to act."

This is the difference between responsible societies and victim-blaming ones.

Talking about this is almost impossible in person though. How do you tell somebody that you have thoughts that make you feel uncomfortable with yourself, and would like to have them less? Therapy is only 1 hour a week...

  • I know he has a problem with milkshakes

  • Yes, the hint that the answer was obvious once you knew it was extremely helpful.

I'm not that quick with math, so knowing that the answer was going to be simple helped a lot. Every time I had an idea that was too complicated, I shelved it and kept looking for something that might be simpler.

It also helped that I was a camp counselor, and one of our survival techniques was to have riddles with simple rules that the counselors were able to operate very easily, but which the kids used lots of brain power to try to figure out.

  • "Hot Singles in my Area"

  • least favorite: Jack-in-the-box.

I got a taco there and it was literally just ground beef in a tortilla.

  • We just had somebody else in the thread show studies for how men are mugged more frequently than women. However I wouldn't be surprised if women are threatened cat called and assaulted more often, and are looking out for more than just violent criminals.

  • The other reason is it communicates to other people in the environment.

  • MSF?

  • I think their question was why would all the women click the same ten random places rather than spread the heat map out more broadly along the dark area?
