Thanks Obama!

I mean, there was plenty of time between November and Jan 21 to rendition 3 justices, anyone in Congress tied to Russian money, the entire trump campaign and all of the Republican money middlemen that launder Russian money for political campaigns

I guess they took "DUI training" literally

Second, we already had Hoover. Trump's policies are basically a rerun of an economic approach we proved doesn't work 100y ago.

Hey thanks! I ended up just slapping kilties on my Jim Green barefoot boots for now, that's helped deal with the extra volume and the small toes area stretched a little with some time. I also picked up a pair of more modern vivobarefoot trackers for times I just want to leave the house without thinking ahead about rain or terrain too much. Those worked out really well for me, it turns out I have slightly wide forefeet and a relatively narrow heel so vivo is a good fit. I've also had some success with the Jim Green STC last, it has more small toes space in the same size vs their zero drop last and the amount of drop with one of their wedge soles is totally manageable. I'd prefer no shank but again, manageable.
The other boots I checked out were the Bearfoot Bruin Patriot, they're also built with heritage construction methods but they were around twice the price of the JG barefoot rangers and they didn't offer enough material or workmanship improvement to justify the cost.
Edit: I did end up sizing up to 12½ on my JG barefoot boots, there wasn't even close to enough room for my small toes in a size 12. I've had success with 12½ with their barefoot and STC lasts. STC has some drop but it's manageable with the wedge soles I've tried.

Tell me about your barefoot boot successes
Hey all, I'm retiring almost all of my footwear - After working from home in VFFs and sandals for a few years every single pair of normal boots and shoes that I own is a size or a size and a half too small. Now I'm in the market for a couple of pairs of barefoot boots that don't trash my smallest two toes on one foot.
So far I've tried the Jim Green barefoot African ranger in my true brannock size (12) and it was murder - the toebox rounds just in the right place to thrash those toes while at the same time being so wide that I have to crank the laces down enough that the boot folds over the bridge of my foot (just below the start of the tongue) when snugged down.
Here's a JG barefoot African ranger (BFAR) in size 12, these murder my smallest two toes and fold over the foot bridge when snugged:

A JG BFAR size 12½ is better but still not great, and if

What new SF have you really enjoyed in 2024?
My available reading time fell off a cliff earlier this year and I haven't had much of a chance to keep up with new work. What really stood out to you this year?
Books, novellas, short fiction - anything goes, I'd love to hear about your favorites

One of the features I really miss from the snu site is multireddits. It would be really handy to have a similar feature available in boost that can aggregate posts from multiple communities into a single feed view.
