Rather than rely on an extension, I think I would add the publicly listed up ranges to my hosts file. That will blackhole any connections where a browser extension wouldn't actually stop anything until it was being processed by the extension.

Morning coffee.

One could say they're killing it off.

$6,000 worth of hearing aids later, I remain unimpressed.

You know you're screwed up when a kiddie fucker calls you backward.

The better question to ask is why is the accompanying photo of a woman pointing 4 fingers at me?

I block communities that routinely show up that I am not interested in seeing and use a monkey script to block instances of no value to me.

No, simply because I don't "have to" have content. If Lemmy lacks interesting content, I go outside for a while.

Well, I use a fake name and an email used only for Duolingo, so..... ok.

"This unbiased and purely informative piece of journalism sponsored by Apple."

I wouldn't change a thing :)

That looks deliciously terrible for me.

I remember as a kid, seeing a commercial for a credit card where the clown of the ad tried to use cash, inconveniencing the mob behind him and it really stuck with me how unapologetic credit companies were when training their consumers and debt carriers.

Solution. Reverse the CAPTCHA reaction. If it's solved, it's a bot, if not, it's a frustrated human.

Legacies are overrated once you're dead.

Lemmy, Facebook for marketplace and that's it, I guess.

Doing something you know will result in a negative(in our case here, losing a huge level of activity, participation, stability, etc).

Oh no, not 100k. How will they ever scrape up that kind of money?

War is so weird now. I don't know how well I would have handled living in a foxhole if I knew a model helicopter could fly by at any time and drop my untimely demise.

The term soaring is pretty relative in this case. It's still completely unknown to the majority of the world. It's just like Lemmy, where the very few rigid types that absolutely couldn't stand for one particular thing that happened to their social network will do anything, including cutting their nose off to spite their face rather than continue to use it. That's why we're all here and it's why nobody else but us are coming.

Can we block entire instances?
I love the added usability of Alexandrite but unless you can block entire instances in it either natively or via greasescript, it is unusable for me.
Thanks for your time!
Anyone know of a web frontend that allows for instance blocking?
Hey there neighbors,
I use Connect on my phone for the necessary feature but haven’t found a web solution yet. Basically, I’m in dire need of blocking an entire instance, as it’s made me not want to visit Lemmy when at the computer.
To clarify, I don’t need all the features of Connect, just instance blocking in the web browser or a PC app. I'm not looking for a sorting/filtering change to subscribed, again, it's just a single instance I need to remove from the feed.
Thanks for your time!

Can an entire server be blocked?

Hi there folks!
I've underestimated the chronically horny's capability of endless categorization and my mouse hand is growing weary of having to block every new porn category that shows up on the hot feed(tits! one tit! two tit! tits on a train! tits on a plane! tits being held! tits being smelled!). I'd like to keep NSFW enabled because some communities I subscribe to use the tag.
Is there any way to block lemmynsfw entirely from being seen in any feed I view?
Thanks for your time!
