Monero General Fund transparency report - February 2025
Note that it is a preliminary post on reddit only, by binaryFate himself. He will give it few days for any discussion to take place and see if anything needs further clarification. After that we can make a blog post on getmonero.org.
I have expressed the general spending policy several years ago and it has not changed. See previous report: https://old.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/11fslu9/monero_general_fund_transparency_report_march_2023/
In short:
Testing comment, 1, 2, 3...
None. I won't waste our time going over this. No point either, Lemmy does not support it.
There is absolutely zero difference between fetching data via Tor but still getting the files from clearnet points instead of .onion points. You are 100% correct. Cheers.
Have you ever been to an .onion URL before? I find it baffling that you don't see the benefits of using a native hidden service...
Fully anonymous, nothing goes through clearnet. Yes, cafe is accessible through Tor, no, that is not a hidden service and will never be.
First couple sentences said everything I had to know. :)
What is everyone's thoughts on a hidden service for cafe? What is the status of implementing federation over the Tor network? Everything would run just the same, just over Tor and instead of lemmy.cafe, a Tor-only URL ending in .onion.
Is this supported by Lemmy? 🤔
Revuo Monero's Calc is receiving some improvements
Currencies buttons work, most popular fiat and cryptocurrencies on the top, .onion hyperlink and a full code refactor. Feedback appreciated!
Looking for Mysu wallet source code
Title says it all. Developer nitter.poast.org/pokkst is taking a hiatus, shut down hidden service and with it the git repository containing the code.
Did anyone grab a local copy that we could host on Github or some gitea instance? We might find a new maintainer for it. It is a great wallet, in my opinion.
