  • Just a little bug. Customer, who was sitting in the couch while ordering, clicked “Use my current location” instead of manually supplying their address; normally quite convenient but due to the latest (untested!) software update on the vendor’s website, FedEx got supplied with the actual gps coordinates instead of the nearest reachable address.

  • The show can be a bit hit or miss and it's certainly not everybody's cup of tea, but I really enjoy it. My suggestion would be to skip the pilot episode, I thought it was trying a bit too hard to be edgy (which says a lot considering it's a series about horny demons in Hell) and it's not considered to be canon, anyway.

And this Loona character seems fucking cool.

I might be sliiiiightly biased here, but yeah, she totally is.

She's actually the whole reason I got into this show in the first place. Someone on a forum I used to frequent had her as a profile pic and I was like, "Hey, cool character, I wonder if she's just a one-off drawing or she's from a show or a game or something" and a quick reverse image search later the rest was history, as they say.

That said, for most of the show she has been rather underused, being more of a recurring background character than anything. Up to now she's only gotten a handful of episodes where she got any real time in the spotlight, with the only real character development mostly happening in the background. It's been confirmed she'll have more of a focus on her in the upcoming season 3, though, and even a song.

  • This is The Way.

Although I do it a little bit differently, I never have food in the morning since I don’t like eating on an empty stomach, so for me it’s dinner for lunch and then breakfast for dinner.

"Get a clue, asshole! You've been calling non stop for the past hour, what makes you think I'm gonna pick up this time??

(it's not like I hate my job, or anything -- it's just that it's always interfering with the shit I actually wanna do!)"

    HELLAVERSE UPDATE

Well, it’s happening: Helluva Boss is making the jump to Prime Video. SpindleHorse is teaming up with Amazon to make the remaining two seasons.

  • No, that’s not true. A birth week recurs yearly, not weekly.

A birth day is the day on which you were born, say Saturday, and you’ll have one of those every week.

A birth week is the number of the week in which you were born, say week 14, and it takes a year before it’s week 14 again. Same interval as a birth month.

A birth date only occurs once. It’ll never be July 4, 1981 ever again.

This is all very normal and logical. Beep boop.

  • From the article:

In February, Friends actor David Schwimmer called on Musk to ban Kanye West from X after he made a series of antisemitic posts.

Schwimmer called on Musk, the owner of X, to remove West from the platform. “This is so 2022,” said Schwimmer. “We can’t stop a deranged bigot from spewing hate-filled, ignorant bile… but we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr Musk.”

Bold of Schwimmer to assume Musk in any way disagrees with Ye's views.

Elon is not just holding the megaphone, he's actively cranking up the volume dial.

I imagine the whole circumcision thing makes sense when you're wandering the desert for years and there's not a whole lot of water around, but other than that, yeah.
