  • I found it ironic when most screamed that "We shouldn't have been there in the first place!" and "Finally the injustice is ending!" when the US withdrew. It was very clear to me from the start that for a majority of the afghan people, life would get significantly worse under the Taliban. Was the invasion a sham? Yes. Did a lot of innocent people get killed? Also yes. But the invasion brought a significant liberation for women especially.

She probably won't win, but she is a more progressive candidate than your typical centrist democrat. And it all started with her getting elected in New York. Talarico vs Crockett is the next opportunity to elect a more progressive candidate with Talarico.

    Diesen Vorschlag darf man nicht durchgehen lassen, schon allein weil man es damit rechten Spinnern erlaubt, ihr alternatives Weltbild mit "alternativen Fakten" ohne Widerworte zu verbreiten. Was passiert, wenn ein signifikanter Teil der Bevölkerung in eine Wünsch-Dir-Was Realität abdriften, kann man vorzüglich in den USA beobachten. Für solide 30% der Amerikaner gilt: Was Trump sagt ist die Wahrheit und wer ihm widerspricht, lügt.
