  • I have a terrible confession: i have loads of audio issues im dealing with atm. My desktop setup basically gets confused and stops working whenever i try to switch fom headphones to speaker, and my two laptops just do not want to pair with my bluetooth headphones unless i futz with bluetoothctl every time

    Anyway, tangent aside. my terrible confession is that i go to linuxmemes for tech support, someone pls help

  • weirdly enough, i find i get the most out of underwhelminghumans. sucking whatever negative traits I can get out of xenotypes and slapping them on pawns where the downsides don't really bug them means less food consumption. I once made some badass superhumans that never slept with nuclear stomachs to return their consumption to neutral, but a bunch of regular dudes bad at planting has been way more practical and easy to set up.

  • I like it a hell of a lot more than D&D 5.5e and Pathfinder 2e in their niche of heroic combat sims. Ultimately I'd like a more robust and versatile system if I'm gonna dish out what was it, 50 or 60 bucks? But ultimately i'm pleased with what it set out to do, and the artwork was pretty and evocative.

    Also, HOLY SHIT the aueter is one of my favorite subclasses ive ever seen. Fuck you, I'm the referee now.

  • Yeah, that makes sense. Do they need to be forming attachments to the same series that we did though? Certainly stories told by contemporary writers are more likely to resonate with someone growing up in today's world, rehashing and up the stuff that resonated with us isn't necessarily the best move for getting the youths on board. Let the ones with interest in the history of gaming play dragon quest and final fantasy.
