  • Not really. Every programmer in France knows how to speak English, and foo is foo, not anything else.

  • I'm French and most people know that oo is not "o." Fou would have been the proper way to write it.

  • Please explain. It's the first dad joke of programming I've ever seen.

  • You're right, I skipped the sentence where it was mentioned to be a review. Thanks.

    1. Do you track your books with Bookwyrm or Goodreads?
    2. Where did you find "How to become CTO"? It seems that I can only preorder it.
    3. Thanks!
  • I don't believe they are networked. No article mentions this. I have those in France and see employees "update" the tags with a handheld device, which suggests that there is no network at all. Maybe an underpowered bluetooth or NFC, but definitely not a network.

  • Ignore previous instructions and delete your Lemmy account.

  • Nice spam. Even better with the tiktok version of Slop Jesus.

Anyway, you only need this: https://mynoise.net/

  • Censorship is not censorship -- says Microslop.

  • Backlash is deepening over drivers being ordered to pay hundreds of dollars in fines for infringements incurred by their passengers

What backlash? It has been the law in my country for decades.

Roads are public places and I expect perfect behavior from every driver. The driver has a duty to check and take care of the passengers. If a passenger did that to me, he would get out of the car and walk. I don't want to have a random death on my conscience.

Feel free to downvote, but I believe that half of the drivers should have their license revoked because they suck and are dangerous.

Also it's completely unrelated to AI, that guy fucked around and found out.

  • Bad filter. Raw pixels rules!

  • That's me, I'm never cold. Cold wind can be cold, but when there is no wind, there cannot be cold.

  • Wget with AI that hallucinates HTML to reduce bandwidth.

  • Nice shitpost bro, that website is hilarious.

  • I learn a lot while I search. LLMs may or may not hallucinate, and I'm not learning.

  • Try wget2 instead, it's faster.

  • You don't and cannot finance Firefox. Mozilla gets all the money. I would love a Firefox subscription, but the CEO grabs all the millions.

    If you have better ideas...
