  • Bro's name is literally Heydar. Nomative predetermism at work.

‘It doesn’t matter to us how long this war lasts,’ says Iranian general

Iranian general Kioumars Heydari has pledged Iran “will not abandon this war” until it achieves its goals and delivers severe blows to the US.

“It does not matter to us how many days this war lasts,” said Heydari, the deputy commander of Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters, in comments carried by Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency.

“We have experienced an eight-year war, and we will end this war only when we have achieved our objectives and made the enemy regret and despair over its disgraceful act.”

  • “What we’ve seen is a completely ad hoc operation where it appeared that nobody actually understood or believed that military action was imminent,” said Gerald Feierstein, a former senior U.S. diplomat who dealt with the Middle East. “It seems like they woke up on Saturday morning and decided that they were going to start a war.”

Enemy can't predict your actions if even you don't know what you're doing.

Oh wait Iran predicted their actions anyways.

Iran claims preemptive operation on ‘separatist groups’ plotting to breach border

Iran’s Intelligence Ministry claims it worked with the IRGC to preemptively strike against US and Israeli-backed separatist groups who were plotting to breach Iran’s western borders and wage “terrorist attacks”.

In a statement carried by the Tasnim news agency, the ministry said the Iranian forces hit many of the separatists’ positions and destroyed their facilities, “inflicting heavy losses on them”.

It added that Iranian forces are cooperating ‌with “noble Kurds” to thwart the “Israeli-American” plan to attack ‌Iranian ‌soil.

Earlier, Iran’s Press TV reported that Iranian forces had launched an operation against “anti-Iran separatist forces” in the semi-autonomous Kurdish region of neighbouring Iraq.

  • Are you sure there are not PATRIOT batteries deployed in Israel? I thought it was part of their multilayered defenses in the previous Iran conflicts.

  • This is Larry Johnson, former CIA - currently Russian propagandist (he wouldn't like me calling him that).

I've been following him for a couple years now.

He is not AI, and he is quite knowledgeable.

  • Just as predicted, the Israeli plan is to destroy water and electricity infrastructure - and then to stoke conflict over the remaining utilities along ethnic lines.

Iran reports damage to water, electricity supply facilities

Minister for Energy Abbas Aliabadi says the US-Israeli attacks have caused damage to water and electricity supply facilities in various parts of the country, according to the IRIB broadcaster.

But he said repairs are continuing to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

People should be careful about their water and electricity consumption, he added.

  • (Operation Rough Rider against Hourhis)

Hmm, if the pilot was more tired, he'd be dead and the jet gone.

It will be interesting to see more SAMbushes in the coming weeks.

  • Might've been the F15? Not necessarily an unknown.

  • I don't believe Press TV has special access to information.

So they themselves might've lost confidence it was an Israeli jet - even if it later turns out to be.

Definetly not a good sign. But your later statement of the search and rescue operation is reassuring.

  • Oh oh oh. Thank you.

  • Mmm I love the Snickers dick vein.

  • Damn, my hands got blown off in my third tour of Iraq. I am posting with my mouth rn.

  • Where I am there are issues with both diaspora Kurds and diaspora Iranians, both fooled by empire in the ways empire sought.

And Kurds have fallen for this shit in Syria, Iraq, and Turkey. The same way we can tell diaspora Iranians to just look at Syria, Libya, Iraq, etc - and they just say that this time will be different - I wasn't sure what to expect from them.

That being said, I thought it would be Iraqi Kurds doing an incursion, not Iranian Kurds doing an insurgency.

  • Yes of course, I hold up my thumb, my index finger, and my middle finger to say "3".

  • These people really are high on their own propaganda. Kurdish Iranians are viewed as Iranians. They are in the armed forces of Iran. They are a significant minority.

It's like asking the US armed forces to massacre Californians because of some fear of California separatism. A good number of the soldiers who would be tasked with such a thing would be from California!

    It would not be doable.

Iran doesn't have internet right now, they are only psyopping themselves.

I never believed for a second that Iranian Kurds were doing anything - I thought they were sending them in from Iraq or something.

  • Iran is working hard not to aggravate Turkey, and Turkey really wants to crush the Kurdish nationalists. So now we see how well Iranian patience and diplomacy works out here.

  • Yes buy me. I'm all yours.

  • This strike was claimed by the Israelis.
