If they oppose him, Trump will start raging on truth social that they are communist America haters that need to be “dealt with”. Stochastic terrorism is a real thing, and these people are cowards.

This bet was always only that these tariffs would benefit him personally by crashing the economy so that he could seize more power, and so far the first part is going swimmingly. The current right wing definition of antisemitism as anything other than fullthroated support for Netanyahu and his policies serves two purposes. It’s a tool for shouting down all opposition to a fellow authoritarian, and it makes it harder to call out actual antisemitism, which they are fine with.

Well, sure, but before they render a decision, Trump can just have them killed, which at this moment is totally cool and legal, according to them. He can also have all of congress killed, which sort of blunts the possibility of impeachment, which as of right now is the only way to punish him in any way, according to SCOTUS.
The fact that Donald Trump a) was allowed to run for president despite being disqualified by the 14th amendment and b) is not in prison shows that justice does in fact play favorites.
