  • I stopped using emacs because I was spending more time in config files than actually doing anything useful

  • It’s not exactly weird, but I loved the giant “duke” controller for the og xbox. A lot of people hated it but I think it’s one of the most comfortable controllers ever made.

  • Tripped and hit my arm on the maple syrup canning machine that heats a water jacket to 200 f and got a 2 inch diameter blister.

  • The pt cruiser handles surprisingly well. It’s not good just not awful. It also gets like 18 mi a gallon.

  • OpenSuse is a good choice as long as you don’t need nvidia optimus support or anything for weird hardware

  • I’ve always used a multimeter and never had any problems with it

  • Thank you for the link! I know what I’m gonna do for the next hour or so

  • I love xp. I wish that windows just kept the same look and overall style but with security updates.

  • : (

  • Yeah pretty much. When I dual booted I just had 2 drives and used the bios boot select

  • Windows has a habit of deleting grub when it updates. Idk if it is just bad Microsoft programming or intentional.

  • I like chiping in when I can. Now that I'm in college I can't spare too much. :(

  • Both images are from a 3 minute animation that some loser on twitter paid $50k for

  • I am actually using Firefox, I just mentioned chrome since that’s what most people and devs use.

I have been binging these compilations. There's 5 of these things, so about 600 tracks of ska goodness.

What Are Some Good Card Videogames?

I've been playing a lot of inscryption and while kaycee's mod is fun, it can get a little boring after a while. Is there anything that will scratch that itch? (that's not magic the gathering, too predatory).

Edit: Just bought slay the spire and it is really fun so far. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

    Graphene OS on Pixel 6a?

Has anyone used it? What was your experience with install/performance? I'm thinking of getting one because it has decent specs for $250. I don't need banking apps or anything like that, and the only social media app I need is snapchat (I know that sort of defeats the purpose, but I just want better privacy, not perfect).

    Minimal Emacs?

I have been using vim for forever and I have dabbled in using emacs throughout the years. Emacs with the evil mode bindings is very comfortable, and I prefer org-mode over markdown (at least for the type of notes I do).

The main thing that stops me from using emacs though is how bloated it is. I don't want the games, web browser, email client, etc. Is there a way to remove those features from a standard install or from source?

Edit: I guess I'll stick with vim for now. It looks like Neovim might be more what I'm looking for instead of Emacs
