  • These people seem to hate free markets but only when they’re on the receiving end, curious.

  • I wish you guys all the best in your civil war.

  • I know civil war sounds cool AF after watching One Battle After Another but in real life you’re only going to give someone a reason to steamroll you with an actual army. It’s irrelevant anyway because most of the tough guys are only LARPing on the internet.

  • Trump is a moron so I’m not sure why you care about what he thinks. If your point was to use association fallacy then, well, it’s just a logical fallacy.

To me it appears that Japan is accelerating the end of negative interest rates which combined with US behaving irrationally means domestic investment is coming back to Japan. This conservative but expansionist monetary policy seems to be working very well in this scenario.

This looks similar to what conservatives did where I live and 10 years later I had to eat my hat and admit it they were right, despite economics professors saying we’d go bankrupt. Turns out academics aren’t free from bias and some simply represent certain interests.

  • Sprzęt był zawsze, ale produkcja kadr zajęła Tajwanowi ponad 20 lat. Tego kroku chyba jeszcze nie zaczęliśmy.

  • Big tough guy energy, perfect pasta to polarise US even more. I’ll continue eating popcorn and watching American empire shit itself and die.

  • You don’t even have to do that. Make Palestinians actual citizens with voting rights, let democracy run it’s course. It would end with dissolution of Israel as it is now and nobody can say they weren’t given the voice.

  • Countries don’t stop having national interests by the virtue of being in EU or NATO. Neither is very firm on specifics of what a response has to be and Russia thrives in ambiguity, hence their hybrid warfare efforts.

  • I don't see it any different, aside of that i don't believe that influence was as orchestraded and planned out as the new plans are.

That’s a very naive way of thinking about the US, a country known for violently meddling with affairs of other countries. I think it’s your bias for one of the capitalist factions that makes it difficult to accept.

  • I’m not sure if being a tax haven is the greatest strategy to make friends Estonia will need when Russia starts poking it.

  • I don’t take politics this personally anymore.

  • euro adoption

And here’s an answer why Orban & Fidesz get so many votes. Euro will be a good idea when EU has a common budget, before that it’s a recipe for economic misery (see Greece in 2015).

  • We were subjected to decades of neoliberal propaganda which resulted in dismantling of public services which led to regular people voting for fascists. It is therefore quite easy to judge American influence as objectively bad.

  • There’s no reason to change outrage levels.

  • In my country, which is an American colony, it was quite telling which press outlets were squirming when Trump cut their financing - surprise surprise, it was all neoliberal „left”. You can’t say RFE was some small operation either, it’s a broadcast station operating since WWII. I know it’s uncomfortable to admit the amount of influence US exerted over Europe for decades now. All that changed is that there’s no rainbow coat of paint anymore.
