  • The morality of the meme was "You think Israel controls US when it is US who controls Israel". I say it's a very bold claim either way. They have aligned ideals but they can't be considered only as the tool of the other. Clearly if US were to stop funding Israel's plans they would not be able to fight as much, but US also benefit from Israel with weaponry, war engineering and intel.

  • Check Wolf (in my other comment), it's the best example of GPU virtualization usage.

Otherwise you can check other docker images using GPU for computing, like jellyfin for instance, or nextcloud recognize, nextcloud memories and its transcoding instance,...

  • Check implementations before saying shit like that. Nvidia has historical bad open source driver support, which makes it hard for people to implement vGPU usage. They actually actively blocked us from using their cards remotely, until COVID hit. Then they gave out the code to do it. They are still limiting customer level cards usage on virtualization cases. They had to give out a toolkit for us to be able to use their cards on docker. Other cards can be accessed just by sharing dev driver files to the volume.

  • I respect all forms of activisms, but I do not find the "showing off your body" method really striking. Like people will talk about it but they mostly do so because boobs. Not sure that gets the message through. It does make sense when the body is the subject though.

  • I think this is misleading. He said times and times again that he wants successful people to have more kids because he thinks other people have too many of them and that would imbalance the "quality" of newborn. This is eugenics 101, and another way to say he wants more white kids than others.

The Impact of Generative AI on Critical Thinking: Self-Reported Reductions in Cognitive Effort and Confidence Effects From a Survey of Knowledge Workers

GenAI can inhibit critical engagement with work and can potentially lead to long-term overreliance on the tool and diminished skill for independent problem-solving.

Analysing 936 real-world GenAI tool use examples our participants shared, we find that knowledge workers engage in critical thinking primarily to ensure the quality of their work, e.g. by verifying outputs against external sources. Moreover, while GenAI can improve worker efficiency, it can inhibit critical engagement with work and can potentially lead to long-term overreliance on the tool and diminished skill for independent problem-solving. Higher confidence in GenAI’s ability to perform a task is related to less critical thinking effort. When using GenAI tools, the effort invested in critical thinking shifts from information gathering to information verification; from problem-solving to AI response integration; and from task execution to task stewardship. Knowledge workers face new challenges in critical thinking as the

Spent hours making an animated SVG and Safari doesn't handle it

Not only Safari is unable to show basic elements (less than Gnome Web which is Webkit based too), there's no single proper tool to export the fricking SVG to GIF. I've never wanted to flip a table that much in my life.
