    But Iran not being a threat isn't enough for the US and Israel. They want to take over the country and install a puppet regime. Cause that worked so well in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    I predict with confidence that this war will kill more Iranian civilians than the regime ever did (likely by an order of magnitude), and lead to several years, if not decades of civil war or guerilla war.

    So I can't recommend them as an ethical option (you'd need to pay for any ethical option), but at least they are independent from the US (they're one of the biggest mail providers in Germany), and I've been with them for 26 years, so I know it stays free long term.

    Ein grüner Landtagsabgeordneter (Hermino Katzenstein) hat z.B. in mühevollster Kleinstarbeit die Stadt Heidelberg dazu gebracht, Tempo 30 im gesamten Stadtgebiet zu beschließen (außer auf Strecken, bei denen das den Busverkehr zu stark beeinträchtigt hätte).Und treibt nebenher im ADFC den Bau mehrerer Radschnellwege voran. Trotz konservativem, autofreundlichem Oberbürgermeister.

    Mein realistisches Wunsch-Ergebnis für die Wahl wäre eine grüne Mehrheit und ein erstmaliger Einzug der Linken in den Landtag.

  • Hab ich zum letzten Mal 2019 in Heidelberg gesehen.Da wurde eine leicht bläuliche Verfärbung des Trinkwassers berichtet, und bis das Wasser im Labor untersucht war, sollte niemand in der Stadt es verwenden.

    Da sind dann auch Lautsprecherwagen in Schrittgeschwindigkeit durch die Stadt gefahren, um die Leute zu informieren.Menschen haben "ausgeliehene" Einkaufswägen voller Wasserflaschen durch die Fußgängerzone geschoben. Innerhalb von einer Stunde war alles Wasser in allen Geschäften ausverkauft, eine Stunde später alle nichtalkoholischen Getränke. Käufer haben sich um die letzten Flaschen gestritten. Die Webseite von Flaschenpost ist unter der Last zusammengebrochen.

    Nach 3 oder 4 Stunden kam die Entwarnung aus dem Labor und der Spuk war vorbei.Aber das war ein krasses Erlebnis: Wie schnell es in so einer Stadt aussehen kann wie der Prolog zur Apokalypse.
