  • New York sues Valve for 'letting children and adults illegally gamble' with loot boxes

  • They should sue Epic Games because Fortnite greatly popularized loot boxes and Microtransactions. Also other games which are the real culprit such as Overwatch, League of Legends, and more. Though granted Valve did make CSGO which was one of the first big games to popularize buying and selling video game skins. But of course lots of other games do it much worse like Gatcha games and mobile games.

  • So how do you do it without cauldrons then? I guess just having them in a one block hole would help and you don't actually need the blocks on the outside of mine though I think it might stop them from escaping. The main reason why I used cauldrons is so you can feed them through the crack.

  • An item filter is what's stopping me from doing this, lol. I hate redstone. But it could be useful to collect the raw chicken and cook it later yourself. Just put it in a chest instead of a furnace. I more just wanted to see if I could breed the chickens between the gap of the cauldrons and was surprised that it actually worked!

  • True I did not think of that. I realize now that my design would catch the eggs too. I had thought that maybe a dispenser or dropper could breed the chickens though simply yeeting the eggs back into the cauldron would be smarter.

  • I never heard of the term headlands before. I think most lighthouses are on the coast to stop ships from crashing into rocks. Though they can be inside sheltered bays like in my world. YouTubers have even built light houses at rivers before. So you can really just do whatever you want in MC. But typically they would be on the coast or in a bay.

  • You can get mending from the end dimension assuming you already beat the dragon. Only thing that does not spawn there is axes.

  • I play the current one and it is optional. Go to Experimental Updates in the settings and you can turn it off or on.

  • I'm not bothered about enchanting that fast. I take things slow. Though if I want to then I will just build a mob farm in the sky unless I found a spawner at my base. They are not hard to make. Why would you need a swamp though? For redstone I assume? I never use redstone very much. I am more of a builder.
