Work farms? No no no— these are wellness farms! Completely different! The labor will be very therapeutic! Plus, if we determine you’re taking medication for any co-occurring disorders, like ADHD or depression we’ll get you clean of that crippling addiction pronto.
:/
Love this style! Try searching for “blanket shawl” to find pieces with this drape.
Webbed toes help them swim more efficiently. As more and more furniture moved indoors, the shape of the legs and feet evolved to the drier climate. You can still find modern pieces where the look has been replicated, but the webbing tends to be decorative in nature, not functional.
Agreed, but the author is not highlighting the lack of public spaces in general, but specifically a lack of public spaces where there isn’t an expectation to spend money.
In my experience, the expectation to spend is greater at indoor spaces than outdoor, so with this distinction, I agree with the author. If taken as originally written, I would think the number of outdoor public spaces far outweigh the number of libraries in any community, but YMMV.
I would imagine the author is referring to indoor public spaces, to which I wholeheartedly agree.
Wildflower seeds! Bonus if they’re native to the state/area. Packets cost a couple bucks. Add a small terra cotta pot for another couple bucks, or DIY some seed bombs and wrap them in a piece of fabric cut from a shirt/sheet/whatever you are considering discarding anyway, tying with a contrasting color of thin fabric.
For the kid in your family, I would suggest researching the wildflowers native to their area, and writing out or printing directions for them to make the seed bombs themselves. Maybe giving parents of said kid $10 to purchase soil for the project.
Check out Wirecutter. It’s been my go-to site for most purchases outside my wheelhouse for years. I like how they break down their findings, like pros/cons, budget picks, and picks depending on what kind of user you are (take record players, for example: are you interested in the format, but don’t want much fuss? They’ll have suggestions for an all-in-one setup. Or are you an audiophile looking to upgrade specific parts? They’ll cover that as well). They also include advice from experts in the field of whatever they’re reviewing, which I find useful.
woop woop I guess?
Hahaha this was literally the story arc of season 7 of Elementary.
Thanks for sharing the full paper— that was interesting!
TIL Those US Polo Assn shirts are made by the actual governing body of the sport of Polo in the USA.
I think you meant to put US Polo Assn. in your title, not “Politics.”
I wouldn’t worry too much… it will end up being at Madison Square Lawn and Garden anyway.
Love Penney’s! No physical store nearby, so I put in an order a couple times a year to restock the essentials. Their 4/S seasoned salt is the bomb and makes breakfast potatoes next level. They also always send free little goodie bags of various spice blends in our order that, if I was a more adventurous cook, I’m sure would be awesome.
“Where is the firewall?!?” Well put, Walz. Well put.
I love this! For anyone wondering, the author is Ian Hamilton Finley from his book Glasgow Beasts, an a Burd, Haw, an Inseks, an, Aw a Fush.
I think MST3K had the right idea:
“If you're wondering how he eats and breathes

And other science facts

Just repeat to yourself "It's just a show
\
I should really just relax"
Between $75-$120 a month, for two of us.
We pay an average of $22 for a 12 oz bag of the good stuff from local roasters (Temple or Chocolate Fish) and go through just over a bag a week. Work days we have 2 cups each, weekends we go all out and have 3. We buy whole beans, grind them at home, and exclusively use the Chemex. Sometimes when we pick up a bag at the shop we treat ourselves to a latte (stupidly expensive) and that bumps up the average.
I have a bright orange Subaru Crosstrek named Poppy.
I was sure it happened to the one you linked to, but in trying to replicate it now, I’m not getting the same result, so it must have been user error on my part. My apologies. The site was kinda buggy trying to load on mobile and you’re probably right— I’m guessing I clicked on something that sent me to a more recently archived version.
