Hi All,

Please keep your feedback coming here too, as it really does help us identify key areas for further work.
Updates should appear on TestFlight and Play Store today.
Should be much better in 0.10.9
Yes, sorry about that. We pushed out 0.10.9 to address this.
Yeah good call, we can do that
We'll add back the grey mode
This is a lingering error with the forced logout that some instances did. You can remove and re add your account and it will be fixed or you can wait a few days and we'll get it fixed.
Redgifs has a nightmare of an API. In my testing only 2 out of 10 worked. We're waiting on a dedicated API token from them
Sure we can bring it back!
I don't think Lemmy supports markdown in titles. And we likely won't add that
Yeah turning off shadow is great. I should have updated the default. Light mode needs the shadows
Release v0.10.8/v0.10.9 - Swipe Actions and Redesigns

Always happy to listen. Action's a different matter of course 😉

Authentication issues again on Lemmy.world
There is currently something going on over at Lemmy.world causing authentication issues. This isn’t a memmy specific issue but is also plaguing the PWA. https://lemmy.world/post/1364490 [https://lemmy.world/post/1364490] Until this is fixed, the best bet it to just keep “retrying”. This would explai...
They seem to have had some success working on this, but it appears that once again, you will need to follow the old routine:
[Update: user feedback is that you can just add your existing account again without deleting it and the app will do the right thing]
We are looking at a better way of dealing with this. Thanks for bearing with us.
Could you give us a summary of what functions you tend to use, to give us some idea of priorities. I mod here and only ever sticky a post, but other experiences would be useful.
Haha, I hope you have a screenshot, because I missed all the fun.
Lemmy.world and others were hacked overnight. More here: https://lemmy.world/post/1292303
Lemmy.world and other instances hacked
While I was asleep, apparently the site was hacked. Luckily, (big) part of the lemmy.world team is in US, and some early birds in EU also helped mitigate this. As I am told, this was the issue: - There is an vulnerability which was exploited - Several people had their JWT cookies leaked, including a...
A number of Lemmy instances have been hacked overnight.
Some may remain inaccessible until they have been secured and restarted.
As a safety precaution logged-on sessions on many servers have been cancelled and you are required to logon again.
Unfortunately, the only way I could find to do this in Liftoff! is by going to Settings > Accounts and deleting each local account by long pressing on it, and then create it again.
All your posts, comments and bookmarks should be preserved during this process.
Please see the linked posts for further details as they emerge.
Thanks all, and please bear with us as this gets resolved.
This is always the right place for compliments 🥰

TestFlight access switched off for the old Liftoff! version 0.0.1(10)

Welcome to Liftoff!
For those of you wondering what all the fuss is about, here's a quick introduction to the app.
Yes, it’s yet another app for Lemmy, but based heavily on the mature but now abandoned Lemmur project, with a few updates to make it run with the current API and some minor changes to the UI.
Written in Flutter, so it is very multi-platform. We currently have builds available for testing for Android and iOS (also running on iPad and Macs [Apple Silicon only for the moment]). Brave souls can try building it for Linux or Windows and report back on their experiences!
Preview it on iOS at TestFlight or on Android at GitHub.
The source is released under GPL 2.0 and is available at GitHub for inspection, download, build, issue logging and contributions, so go and get it!

Are you ready for Liftoff?
Limbo and Limmynade have joined forces, and will continue development together as Liftoff!
The past couple of weeks have been tremendously exciting times for all of us as events elsewhere have led to a massive growth in interest in and usage of Lemmy.
Our two separate projects both started with the intention of bringing an existing open-source code base Lemmur up to date, with the aim of helping new users to have a great first experience of Lemmy, while giving existing users access to many rich features. As soon as we became aware of each other we realised that we would work much more effectively by combining our efforts. Read more about what makes Liftoff! special.
