God it's so sad but so true, I always think of that scene in shawshank where the guy is about to get raped and the camera pans away with the narrator saying " I wish I could tell you the good guy won". That's just our society, the bad guys almost always win and we keep going down.
I have come to learn that in corporate America trivial things like physical restraints, functionality, laws of nature, and honestly reality as a whole can be completely ignored. They love this mentality too!
What you actually accomplish and the feasibility of your goals are irrelevant, the only thing that matters is if you can blow enough smoke up the asses of those above you.
Truth and humility simply aren't compatible with american style business which is why silicon valley conmen are so successful, they can fool the ignorant wealthy
I mean that's fair, it's just there is this strange saber rattling like this around Lemmy sometimes where a very small community pops up on all. It's not terrible or anything I've just seen it pop up more often than you'd think.
For me in Lemmys state, just drive engagement! Moderate the trolls out of course but other than that just be loose.
This is of course my opinion and I'm not a community mod but there ya have it.
I'm not trying to be mean but this is a community with 500 subs with 1 post every week or two. I wouldn't worry about information getting buried in a meme post
I love the alternative suggestion, but I can't with the trackballs lol. I think I have some dyslexic tendencies and switching the muscles for mouse movement just breaks my mind haha!
Do bulls obtain consent? Nature is rapey as hell
