Add to that that there's a lot of online activism against Tesla (for obvious reasons), so the poll could have been partly hijacked. Such a low number of people who don't care or haven't heard about Tesla going rogue is not realistic anyway. There's a lot of people who are weird, contrarian or simply avoid all news.

There's two positives for her resigning:

• she can live on without hating herself
• she signals to the world that the Washington Post is not reputable anymore I'm not sure how she could have a more positive impact by staying, which you appear to imply she should have.

It's in a somewhat exotic tag, so by default any map that uses OSM will still show Gulf of Mexico, unless they actively intervene to show Gulf of America.
