Posting because it's frustrating how often I see nonbinary folks say they want to "transition to intersex" just noooo that's not what intersex is. Like congrats on figuring out body transition goals but just that idea that "intersex is ambiguous genitals and that's all there is to it" kept me in the closet about being intersex for years.

People need to understand that some intersex people find out late, and not every single intersex person has had invasive medical trauma, and we don't owe you our history or proof of our intersex stat…
