  • The Slovak govetnment (and Hungarian too I imagine) is adamant the pipeline is in working condition and Ukraine is stalling on making the gas flow. They also refuse to diversify and are pushing for continuing to use Russian gas.

    So I hope Putin goes through with this because it would be hillarious.

  • These are likely artificial. I remember someone was able to go around the TPM 2.0 requirement and run Win11 without one (though no idea where I heard this or who the guy was).

    And for Win12 it would clearly be a requirement just to puah AI more. My understanding is there is no real use for NPU other than for AI processing

  • I enjoyed it myself, but I remember people thought the Cibola Burn weak. It really picks up after that though. The next two books are peak.

  • These AI features won’t come cheaply, with Windows 12 set to debut a new hardware requirement just as its predecessor did with the TPM 2.0 requirement. This time around, a dedicated NPU would be required, a specialized processor designed to handle AI tasks.

    This is so dumb if true. First they force HW upgrades because of TPM 2.0 and now, on the very next product they force yet another one for many due to NPU?

    You can see they have long term vision...
