  • People change throughout their entire lives, and ideas that seemed effin' cool when we were young and pretty, well, maybe they felt less cool as we sobered up and aged. I think most of us can relate to the feeling that once or twice, the younger version of ourselves sure was a goddamned idiot who made some dumbass decisions that made our future life twice as hard as it needed to be.

But yeah, nothing screams cool like a 50+ year old with face tattoos.

  • Sure, the dems deserve it just like a woman deserves what she gets for wearing that revealing dress in that bar, right? Because that's what you are doing. Blaming the victims.

Instead of blaming the Republican party and people who didn't vote, you make fun of the only people who tried to stop them. Which tells us all exactly the type of person you are.

Someone who would rather make fun of "THE DEMS" instead of Trump and the Republican party. You're the problem, not "the dems".

  • Failing upward. Trump Steaks, Trump University, hell, he couldn't make money running a CASINO: Trump Castle Hotel and Casino, bankrupt. Trump Plaza Casino, bankrupt. Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, and Trump Entertainment Resorts.. all bankrupt.

Now he can add the US economy to his trophy case of participation ribbons.

  • No, you are so right, why have rallies at all, when we can just let everyone think they are alone in their opposition to fascism. What's the point of letting the media and politicians know the current administration does NOT have a mandate.

Rallies unite and focus people. People meet at these rallies, become friends, form groups, etc.

  • Typically, statistics are abused by politicians/partisan hacks who take data from reliable sources and lie/spin it to their narrative. The thing is, the average Fox News viewer with a HS diploma isn't going to dig any deeper. And I wouldn't say they trust their gut... they trust the propaganda narrative.

When Trump and Vance said immigrants were eating people's dogs and cats, they just nodded their empty heads.. you can't teach someone like that to engage reason.

  • Not gonna happen.. he is still doing mental gymnastics to justify Dear Leader's decisions "I know his goal is to even our trade deficit..."

Trump could dump gasoline on a burning house and they would say, "he was just trying to put out the fire, gasoline is a liquid like water after all"

  • Does anyone else remember the 2016 debate with Hillary Clinton where she accused Trump of being a puppet for Putin, and he interrupted "No puppet, no puppet! You're the puppet!"

Or when Alnur Mussayev, the Russian officer who served in the KGB's 6th Directorate in Moscow, said that Trump was recruited as a Russian agent in 1987, under the codename "Krasnov", when he went to Russia for a "real estate project".

  • Elon's wealth comes from the value of Tesla stock - an overvalued PoS stock that has never paid a single dividend. His twitter loan was secured by Tesla stock, so the more the price tanks, at some point you'd think the loan would be called due.

But hey, Elon is now in charge of government contracts and spending, what luck.

  • Did you seriously cite a Medium article? C'mon now, it's an open blog where anyone can write anything without any fact checking. Ir's worse than Wikipedia.

According to a tech crunch article, "As of today, Honey’s 17 million members have saved more than $2 billion to date."

That translates to a lot of transactions.

  • No, you are missing the point. With the democrats, you had a chance of a better outcome. You have sympathetic representatives.

With the republicans, you will have better luck trying to convince a brick wall. Your logic is so faulty it's bordering on trolling. Good luck with the Trump administration.

  • The vote was 234-188.

Why don't we talk about the 212 Republicans that voted for her censure instead of the 22 democrats that joined them?

Why don't we talk about the 188 democrats that voted against censure?

What's your game plan? Weaken the Democrats so that the Republicans keep power in the majority?

  • The vote was 234-188

Omfg, 22 Democrats!! Let's not talk about the 212 Republicans they joined, right? Let's make sure those Republicans stay in office and grow stronger. Let's not think about the 188 democrats who voted not to censure her.

What a clever strategy. You see things oh so clearly.
