Same, but even with all that BS, I got more kills in 6 minutes participating in that drama than I would have alone, since I was soloing 4 players' worth of spawns. I'm happy to part fools from their spawns to get orokin cells they refuse to pick up, I just wish it didn't come with misgendering. If the harassment weren't part of the package deal I'd be doing that all day just to spite them, and they'd have twice as many orokin cells that they refuse to pick up.
Plus, that newbie was a good kid. They didn't deserve to be lied to that Gabii totally has plastids. They ended up siding with those assholes, but only because they were manipulated. I don't like the taste of leaving newbies to the kubrodons.

Farming toxicity
Just had the worst farming experience of my life.
I've mostly given up on camping to farm. Whenever I do it, it takes 5 minutes to get one orokin cell. Whether we're doing Gabii, Ophelia, or Piscinas, I've found it's always faster to run towards the enemy than sit around waiting for them to come to you. I can kill twice as many enemies moving around than still, so what's the point of Strangledome in situations like that?
Today I formed a farming group with somebody who seemed new to Steel Path, looking for orokin cells. I asked if we could farm plastids at the same time. I recognise that there's a 10% lower drop rate of cells on Piscinas, but wasting 10% of my time is better than wasting 50% by having to go to Ophelia later on. The newbie also wanted plastids.
But player 3, who clearly knew exactly what they were doing, wanted to go to Gabii. They made fun of me for needing plastids and started us on Gabii. We didn't communicate at all before starting the mission, the newbie thought

dbzer0 admin displays shocking hatred of people with NPD
A lemmy.dbzer0.com admin by the handle of Unruffled, actual username @[email protected], posted an ableist comment today in relation to a ban decision.
Unruffled's explanation for the ban is that people with narcissistic personality disorder are not a victimised demographic, and that when pwNPD claim to be marginalised, this is an abuse tactic.

Tipping rewards the boss. If the workers don't get tipped, the boss has to make up the difference.
Bosses are legally required to make up the difference to minimum wage if a tipped employee doesn't get enough tips.
If I tip a cashier, then we're taking money away from the working class to give to the working class, which means there's no net change. But if I refuse to tip, the boss has to make up the difference and the working class gets money from the capital class.
Therefore tipping is class treachery. You're depriving the workers of chances to take money from the bourgeois.

Lemmy is full of plenty of people who hate me for being trans and disabled. And way too many self-identified leftists who think I'm being trans and disabled the wrong way and am therefore a right wing troll.
Most of the well known Lemmy instances lean communist, even if their admins can be quite socially regressive. As such I've accumulated a reputation as being a troublemaker for the left. I want to go make trouble for the right to fix my reputation. I wanna go talk shit, stir up drama, and get banned. I want the modlogs to say a bunch of open bigots hate me instead of the closet bigots who hate me now. I wanna ruin some nazis' days and call them shitheads. Where do I go on the Fediverse to go make trouble for the open reactionaries?

My problem isn't that animals died to make the game. That's a bad thing, but my actions can't affect it. They're already dead. My problem is that this game is going to further extremes than any other game to deliberately include and glorify animal killing. I kinda forgive it in games like BOTW or Horizon because it's part of the story, they're just portraying life as it exists for some people. They're not thinking about their actions. The dragon's dogma people are. They are intimately aware of the fact they're glorifying death, they took the time to think about it and said "that's a good thing".

This is caused by tidal forces pulling all planets towards this same equilibrium, so it's completely stable once it does occur..a tidally locked planet at an earthlike distance from the sun would be scorching heat on one side, freezing ice on the other.
What about at different distances? Is there a band of orbital distance where the night side of a tidally locked planet is warm enough for liquid water? Or one far away enough that the day side can have oceans?
