  • Does everyone remember during Trump's first presidency, President Xi had just made himself president for life. Trump brought this up at a rally and said "maybe we should try that" and the crowd cheered. It was never a joke. Everything he says is testing the waters to see what reaction he'll get. Now there's a group trying to get him elected to a 3rd term. I think a Republican congressman or two is also pushing for this.

  • We have several TCL Roku TVs and Netflix is trash on all of them. Netflix is fine on the streaming sticks though. And every app seems to take some time to load as well. The TVs are pretty old so that's probably why.

  • Well considering Republicans control every branch of government, they're assuming they can and will get away with it. Even if this goes up to SCOTUS, the conservative justices will let them do what they want. One of them will "dissent" though to try to make it seem like they don't agree. They're probably behind closed doors playing rock, paper, scissors to see who "dissents" each time a hot button topic gets up to them.

  • I think this happened to me last night with an ad for Moana 2 playing automatically. I just assumed I accidentally hit a button. I was on the home screen but it enlarged and played in the basically the top quarter of the screen. I hit Close and it closed.

Also, the Netflix app is absolute garbage on the TCL Roku TVs. Constantly freezes and crashes, sometimes while not even try to rewind or pause/resume. It just decides its had enough and causes the TV to restart lol.

  • Because they want to distinctly label people as anti Trump. Just being opposition isn't enough. If they can do that, they'll probably start making us wear something so Trumpers know. Sound familiar? Obviously this is worst case scenario, but with the way things are going, I'm not putting anything past Republicans.

  • This asshole is treating these jobs like he treated Twitter. Fire everyone, see what breaks, then hire those people back. Real efficient there! Let's not actually review processes and jobs to see if there are overlaps anywhere. Just get rid of everyone and see what grinds to a halt or is really unpopular with people.

  • This is literally from whitehouse.gov, I can't belive this is an official post from the executive branch. I feel like it needs to be shared for posterity.

Lawyers representing state legislative leaders were in court Thursday in Raleigh, arguing to throw out an anti-gerrymandering lawsuit that targets the state's new political districts.

The lawsuit argues that the state constitution guarantees the right to fair elections, and it says the new districts violate that promise. The Republican-led legislature argues that no such right exists, since it's impossible to define what "fair" means.

    Post Sort doesn't save?

Anyone else have this issue? I did a quick search so I apologize if it's a known issue, but I can set my post sort to Top Day in my user settings, but it eventually defaults to Active.
