  • If you want to carry your whole music library around, a big SD card makes that work. I understand streaming is the trendy thing and I was using Navidrome myself, but I rolled back my plan and switched to SD card for it. I've saved money.

Another use case is for carrying a heap of ROMs. I've also done this until I realised gaming on my phone was uncomfortable and bought a dedicated device.

Having the SD card wasn't a dealbreaker for me when I bought this phone but I do really like having it.

  • Oh sorry I forgot about that bit. I meant the bulk billing style.

  • Single payer is the same as our version of Medicare. Odd way to phrase it though.

  • Look at their FAQ. If you're on Linux wget on the folder works a treat.

  • Some ROMs have an option to move the number positions when you input a PIN. A decent protection from someone watching you key it.

  • Separating 2fa and passwords is good practice. If one side gets compromised the other is still okay.

  • I can get behind this. I use a smaller (though they've grown a bit since I got on board) ISP who makes a big deal about having on-shore customer support. I'm happy to pay a small premium for that.

  • Ready to Rumble.

  • I saw The Midnight in concert last week so I'm deep into their discography at the moment.

  • I use New Comments and am happy with the balance.

  • The $ is silent.

  • If you already have games it becomes an easier argument. Not always. I still have some 3DS games that I never got rid of when I got rid of the console, I would like another console but the prices...

That being said if my PS2 or 3 die, I'm replacing.

  • Interesting how it varies with the threat. In my region wild storms are a lot more common so most new developments go underground.

  • Even cutting down, you'll probably feel better. I don't have any strict rules, I just haven't really wanted to cook too much with meat in it so far this year. Yeah I've made like 3 things with meat but everything else... eh.

Curries and chillis are super easy to make without meat. Salads too. Pick Up Limes on YouTube is a pretty good vegan channel. Her Buffalo Pasta Salad is great. Sometimes I'll modify things to make vegetarian which feels a bit weird. (ie. using cheese or yoghurt instead of the vegan substitutes)

I've noticed that if I'm feeling tired or stressed or sore it doesn't seem to hang around as long and recovery is better.

  • Blogs and small web stuff can be pretty useful.

  • I'm sitting on around 4.5gb with a third of the cycle to go. That's high for me, would be under 1gb if I wasn't watching the cricket for a bit on Boxing Day.

I'm mostly on the network at home or playing music from the memory card so don't need much at all, but 20gb is the lowest available with my provider.

  • Dew point of 23. Yuck.

  • The second one 'Sonic All Star Racing Transformed' is decent too. You transform between a car, a plane and a boat depending on the part of the stage.

  • CX does have a Google tracker in it.
