People ought to deny ICE service for a start. Anyone in their vicinity can contribute and nothing is too small.
If they want anything from you, it's your duty to make sure they can't have it.
If they order a sandwich, they should be told the sandwich maker is broken today. Every day. If they need a car repair, that part will take six months to arrive. When they pay for electricity, their payment was misplaced. Their garages should be blocked by parked cars. The garbage truck should accidentally drive past their property again this week. Etc.
Don't be an ICE collaborator.
At some point, not far away, the people who have guns will run out of food before they run out of ammo. The morons will work with the tools they have.
Legally? You can kill them as well.
You just have to claim that you thought it was self-defense against what appeared to be a black man jogging around your house.

It's a jacket.
I just think that the head of the brush is a rather arbitrary threshold for when a toilet brush is considered icky or not. The whole thing, including your hands, go into the toilet when you use it. Being able to detach the brush head hand free is a very small but costly improvement. I'd go as far as calling it a false sense of security.
Also, I wash my butthole when I shower. With my hand.
So imagine you use that, would you lick your fingers right afterwards?
Fishermen have this issue.
I don't think I have ever seen a toilet brush with a lever to eject the brush. I also don't think it solves much. You'd have to wash your hands anyway.
The title is sort of misleading.

I found this description interesting.

There's a sort of labyrinth called Troy Town labyrinths that supposedly have the effect of solving problems for anyone who walks it. It's obviously pseudo numble jumble, but there might be something to it.
It's not a labyrinth as such, because there's only one route from the entrance to the center and no choices to be made. It's laid out so that the turns go both left and right and the length varies between turns.
Walking through it requires very little thinking and is not super exciting, but the changes ln direction at unpredictable times are enough to keep the consciousness occupied so the subconscious mind can get to work.
Historically they were used for worshipping, which aligns with the idea of getting revelations.
I'm not sure if it's better or worse than a regular walk in the park, but I think there's a point to it, because it removes all conscious choices and gets you into the zone of just "doing" something, allowing the brain to work without interference.
Try it, if you can find one.
An office is usually divided in different departments that have different functions.
In no particular order, not exhaustive, and skipping management and IT, typical functions could be:
Customer service. Pick up the main phone line and check the official mail box, talk to customers, redirect calls to other departments.
Sales coordinators. Receive orders from customers, through sales representatives or by web etc. They basically ensure that all incoming orders have the proper data to be processed. Keeps track of order confirmations and maybe send data back to the customers.
Logistics. Arrange shipments from suppliers, to customers and between stock locations. Files all documents for toll and tariffs.
Debtor controllers. Keeps track of customer payments, outgoing invoices, payment plans, sending reminders and debt collection.
Creditor controllers. Register incoming invoices. Get approvals from whoever ordered it and pays the bills on time or whenever it makes most sense for discounts and such.
Finance controllers. Keeps track of the entire balance sheet. Bank reconciliations, cash flow, investments, files and pays taxes. General bookkeeping that doesn't fit in the other departments. Does the financial statements, reporting, monthly, quarterly or annually.
Purchasing, HR/Payroll and PR/marketing are self-explanatory I think.
All of these administrative functions are necessary in most companies, but in smaller companies it all could very well be done by a single person, while in large companies they might have several people in each department.
Many companies have several subsidiaries or other constructions, so tasks or functions can also be spread out like that. For instance, I can be the creditor department in one company while also doing finance in another or payroll in a third. So while the functions are somewhat strictly defined by the tasks, it's only in very large companies that someone does just one function.
All office functions are constantly being made more efficient. A lot of it is truly boring, so it's in everyone's interest to automate as much as possible. I don't feel sorry for someone losing their office job to an algorithm, no, I'm happy for them not having to do it anymore.
It's not a stupid question. When I was interviewing for my first office job back in 2001, I literally asked if they could show me what I had to do.
Seing someone who entered data into a program, I asked if that's it? You really want me to just enter data into that program? OK, I can do that. And so I was hired to put numbers into boxes on the screen and have been doing that ever since. Not the same program of course. I've been around all departments by now and spend most of my work time working on avoiding typing numbers into boxes.

For text, I suppose it's similar to writring nonsense in background color instead of spaces or by using an invisible font. AI could probably figure it out and filter it.
The reason it works for music is that AI doesn't really understand the "grammar" of music, so it just treats it like an image.
Yes, but Facebook can't just place that script on other people's pages.
That's the point of the buttons. Website designers place that shit themselves.

Canvas (Place) er begyndt
Rocky start, but we’re here! also making this almost an hour late due to the rocky start # What’s Canvas? Canvas is a collaborative pixel canvas similar to Reddit’s r/place, except it is open to (almost) the entire Fediverse! The event is going on from July 12th 4am UTC to July 15th @ 4am UTC (72 ho...
Hvordan gør man?
Global carbon dioxide emissions might have already peaked, according to new estimates, signaling a potentially monumental shift.
question about online tabs and fonts
How do I best view tabs from pages like ultimate guitar and others on a phone browser, so that the chords and lyrics match up? I know on pc they usually show up fine in notepad or with ASCII fixed sys font, but I can't quite figure out how to set it up for easy browsing on an android phone. I tried copying it to other apps but none of them have a fixed width font.
How do you do it?

Nicky Guerrero - hand plant
A local skatepark held an official opening inviting Rune Glifberg and Nicky Guerrero to do a demo. The weather was tricky, but in between rain they managed to pull off a few tricks in the deep end. I didn't get a good photo of Rune.

Old chest (solved)
Use imgbox to upload, host and share all your images. It's simple, free and blazing fast!
I am restoring an old chest and while removing a cover under the lid I found this label. As you can see, it's completely undecipherable except for "***halle & co." However there's another label underneath it. I wonder if I can separate them by putting it in water (like stamps off an envelope), but I'm afraid of destroying it if it has any value whatsoever.
The chest is made of wood and metal, but it's in a horrible state. Hinges and screws have been replaced prior to my owning, and the wood is damaged. I plan on restoring it, but would like to know it's history. Judging by materials and the label, I recon this is from 1900-1940s and American.
Optifine won't install on Linux Cinnamon
I'm trying to install Optifine on a Linux Mint Cinnamon laptop. Minecraft Java edition of course.
The game works and has been launched in version 1.20.1, but the Optifine installer keeps saying that I need run version 1.20.1 first.
Also, the installer is already pointing at the correct directory as default, but when I browse the location from the installer, I can't see or set the .minecraft directory manually.

blur - wembley
Now, I've been to many concerts and even several blur concerts, but this one felt .. special. Even better than the Hyde park concerts 10+ years ago. Anyone else there?
To me it was like watching their proudest achievement and also delivering on it. Maybe I'm just in awe of the brimfull Wembley stadium shouting along on Park Life, but it definitely felt like this was the final grand stadium concert. I've seen Aerosmith, Green Day, Guns'n'Roses and other larger bands on a full arenas before, but those didn't even come close to this. Despite everything being extremely professionally and on time, they managed to break the wall between the stage and the 90000 in audience.
I'm not even a blur fan as such, but I do acknowledge that their contribution to music is way way underappreciated, or maybe it actually isn't?
The warm-ups sucked, but I think those were a local thing, but the main band really came across brilliantly. I dunno..this was beyond just great, and I have no hopes of e
Nej nej nej, prøv lige at høre her:
