I was really proud of our little town of Lebanon. There was live music, roller skating, photo booths, inflatables, vendors & food trucks, movie night, and all sorts of other events all weekend. I would say that attendance was probably less than expected Sat & Sun, but Monday was pretty hoppin!
Joe Mixon is being released by the Bengals, who are signing former Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss to a two-year, $8 million deal, NFL Network Insiders Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday night.
Just finished S04 of For All Mankind. Still love that show.
We loved Chateau and watched the spin off (Make do and Mend).
Tell me that it is worth sticking with The Traitors! I heard a lot about it and watched S1E1 of the US series. It kinda just felt like Survivor.

Former Colts punter Hunter Smith launches Statehouse bid
Footballer-turned-farmer Hunter Smith is aiming for a seat left open by retiring Rep. Donna Schaibley, R-Carmel.
“ Hunter Smith, an Indianapolis Colts punter turned farmer, is running for an open Statehouse seat as a Republican.”
The Colts will welcome back Big Grove with open arms, as he should be a big upgrade to the team’s run defense again.
"During Stewart’s 6-game suspension, opposing teams were averaging over 157 total rushing yards and 4.7 yards per carry. With him, the Colts were allowing around 113 total rushing yards per game and 3.7 yards per carry. Meaning, there’s a significant upgrade when ‘Big Grove’ is active, healthy, and on the field"
The Eagles are signing former All-Pro linebacker Shaquille Leonard to bolster their linebacker corps.
"If it wasn’t clear before the 49ers game, it became clear during the 42-19 beatdown: The Eagles needed some outside help. Luckily for them, Leonard decided to sign with the Eagles instead of the rival Dallas Cowboys."

Props to Shaq Leonard still out there giving out turkeys in Indy after being released by the #Colts
Props to Shaq Leonard still out there giving out turkeys in Indy after being released by the Colts
The Colts waiving Shaq Leonard feels shocking and strange, but it’s the right move
Life without Shaq Leonard will probably feel foreign to fans for quite some time. Shaq was the life and soul of the Colts’ defense for many seasons. A former HBCU standout with a goofy and larger-than-life personality, Leonard brought so much juice to a team struggling to find the same energy that greats like Robert Mathis, Dwight Freeney and Gary Brackett brought to the franchise.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is set to have surgery on his injured right shoulder and will miss the remainder of the 2023 season.
“After consultation with our medical staff, Anthony, and those close to him, it has been determined that he will undergo surgery to repair his injured shoulder, which will end his season," owner Jim Irsay said in a statement. "Anthony is a competitor, and we know how difficult and disappointing this is for him and our team. We collected several medical opinions and we felt this was the best course of action for his long-term health. We anticipate a full recovery and there is no doubt Anthony has a promising future. In the meantime, I love the fight of this team and I'm excited for the opportunity we have ahead of us. It starts this week with Cleveland.”
Grover Stewart has been suspended for six games without pay.
“He is eligible to return to the active roster Dec. 4, following the Week 13 game against the Tennessee Titans.”
Colts' Anthony Richardson 'probably' done for season, Irsay says
Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson could undergo shoulder surgery in the next week or so, team owner Jim Irsay told ESPN.
The most likelihood is he's probably going to be gone for the year," Irsay said. "I mean, it's not definite but [he] probably misses this year and we're going to have to contend with that factor."
Thanks for the tip. I usually view via mobile app so I hadn't even noticed that the images dropped off. This is now fixed and looking snazzy.

Apparently they’ve progressed to the “find out” stage of the process.
I like the helmets. Not so hype about the all blue unis.
Lots of comments in the Reddit thread to this effect. Sounds like…they still want it!
OP here. I follow my Lemmy account on Mastodon and boosted it from that Mastodon account. I suspect that is how it got some cross-pollination.
I started a Mastodon server and had been running that for about 5-6 months before joining a Lemmy server. I knew about other ActivityPub platforms, but hadn’t felt the need to join until then.
My warm, comfy, tried-and-true go-to is Scrubs. Funny, heartfelt, an in the upper echelon of quick biting wit.
If you like the real estate stuff, I might recommend "The Parisian Agency" on Netflix. It is 100% in French, so you have to be OK with subtitles. But they are a great family and it is fun to watch them work together.
I keep seeing this one all over the place but, for whatever reason, it never really caught me enough to look into it further. I'll give it a test run and see what happens. Thanks for the recommendation.
I agree with most of the sentiment in these comments. Allow users to adjust filters & setting individually. Block individual users if they’re reported. Save defederating for hate speech, brigading, trolling, etc.

For the shoe!
I use the FediBuzz Relay to push some hashtag-specific content to my instance. When you set that up, FediBuzz creates a "user" that boosts anything with that hashtag. For example, one of the hashtags I want it to help look for is #HoosierMast. It created @[email protected]. So, maybe that is a work-around? However, I have no idea how to then take that Mastodon username and add it to your follows on Lemmy!
