  • Nothing will top bonfires, but I love Elden Ring's sites of grace. They fit well into world thematically and aesthetically, and are easy enough to spot at a distance without being too obvious, which is important in an open world game like ER. They could've come up with a more succinct name, though

  • I enjoyed nearly everything about this game but really disliked how bullet spongey the enemies are, especially on high difficulties. It kept me from enjoying the gameplay and bounced me from the whole series, honestly

Edit: After reading replies, I must have been playing on a lower difficulty. This has inspired me to return to the series and play on a higher setting - thanks to everyone that clarified

  • That aspect of nixos is great. I ran it for a while and found that it's excellent once you have things working, but debugging and getting to that place was far more painful than with other distros. In a few years I'll try switching to it again

  • This is comletely true, except it didn't kick in for me until my child was around for a few days. The first 48 hours, I was too brain dead for it to sink in. My advice to soon-to-be parents is not to feel guilty if you're not immediately star-struck; it can take time.

After a week or so I felt exactly as you described. It's incredible.
