Nah, that is One Hour Photo kind of apologetics.
I don't think he is a Nazi, but if you think that is what would save you from being a Nazi, you haven't been following the last 80 years of developments in Palestine.
Not really into the manosphere I think, but he is definitely a tech solutionist.
Despite being a very human-centered series from what I heard, it had too much "space-awe" in its presentation. That stuff is boring as hell to me, bordering offensive as I am more of a "Whitey's on the Moon" kind of guy.
If you had nothing, as you said you would have, you would have nothing to provide to the authorities.

I know that this may be a requirement in Switzerland, that is why I would not use a Swiss product in the first place.
Trust in a product can be weaponized.
Also, as a Roman, I would never trust a Swiss. Call it genetic memory.
EDIT: apparently Proton was once more useful, this time to Musk.
I could not even stand Walter, watched 1 and a half episodes.
Game of Thrones, the Expanse, Breaking Bad
I see Proton and Bluesky. Appreciable effort, but it can be done better.
Depends how tuned in you are. If it wasn't for this pinned post on Lemmy I wouldn't have known.

You literally missed the right number by one.
Repeat with me: "Morto 'n papa, se ne fa n'antro".
This is Romanesco (the dialect of Rome) for "When a Pope is dead, another one is made", usually used to comment situations in which the present condition will not be changed simply because of how the underlying mechanisms work.
Literally nothing to see here.
I believe him to be of Russian descent, and playing hard on the American stereotype of that.
He has had a troubled academic career due to a faulty paper trying to prove Tesla's Autopilot to make people more attentive.
He has a long standing podcast in which he interviews mostly techbros and politicians such as Musk, Carmack, Trump, Modi and the like for hours at a time. He never really challenges them and lets them speak on whatever they bring up, turning his podcasts into hours-long PR stunts.
Probably a Russian asset, given that in this comment to his conversation with Zelensky he reiterated Trump/Vance talking points.
I have noticed that people who later reveal themselves to be into Joe Rogan and the like first test the waters by asking you if you listened to the latest Fridman podcast. I work in a tech consultancy so I have quite a sample, but it could also be a bubble.
Andrew Rousso made a spot on imitation of the guy here, as usual. It's worth listening to a Lex Fridman podcast intro just to enjoy Rousso's imitation.
As an old enough Italian, I can assure you that my friends who attended those schools in the 90s still received the same treatment and especially that teachers in public schools who attended those schools kept telling us of how they dreamed of doing that to us.
Wow, just wow. Are you Drax?
This bears the question: is that what the elite wants? I mean you wouldn't accept a shitty job and you would consume less to compensate your dissatisfaction, so...
Ask about Lex Fridman: at least for tech geeks it is the antichamber to Joe Rogan and the pandemonium thereafter.
I am just saying that they don't know what they are asking for with this behavior: such places already exist and they are abusive to their own members.
I don't want to say that Trump made you a favor, but I realized that I had completely forgot about Canada. Are you aware of this?
I mean, sure, it's not as population dense as the USA, or Mexico, but Canada is huge, your people are nice, you have some of the best entertainment companies on the planet (namely Cirque du Soleil and Pornhub), your natural resources and attractions are unbelievable and your actors are the best (especially the BSG/Chronicles of Riddick cast).
And yet, as an Italian with an international perspective (lived abroad for the last 16 years and visited the USA and South America repeatedly), I have been not "Canada-aware" for most of my life.
I get it that you are not boasting like your neighbors (and that alone makes you better than them imho), but how come that I was left to realize only today that the Manitoba flour I used to make pizza all my life takes its name from one of your provinces, while I know about all the shitty pizzas the US made up in a century.
Same thing goes for Latin American countries, even the ones I never visited, like Mexico or Argentina.
I shall visit soon and I h

Just bought the game yesterday and I feel like I am going to play for a very long time.

Hello everyone, brand new commander here. I have just bought and installed the game yesterday and it is really a pleasure and an eye-candy on my 4K monitor. Finished the first training and the first mission in Dromi.
I am playing with mouse and keyboard for now. But cannot exclude buying a flight controller for this and other games in the near future.
Please advise in general on anything that may be useful to a newbie, but here are a few questions:
- How much of a campaign is there? I heard the real pleasure is in getting lost, but it would still be interesting to see if any story is there.
- How much of a multiplayer experience is (left) in there? I could see names that sounded "human-given" in the Ext.Comm. screen but didn't really understand.
- Am I ruining my experience significantly by playing without a flight stick? I don't think I will buy a huge HOTAS set, but if I can get an extremely good experience

If you could reroute all the money spent globally on Generative AI right now to another single technological endeavor, what would it be?
I need help devising a "reverse Movember"
Last year I did Movember as a joke and people actually donated money!
This year I decided to grow a beard, so I was thinking about making it a reverse Movember, going from full beard to moustache only.
What do you think should be my course of action during the month? I thought of:
1 is the most socially acceptable, but it will be hard to see until the last stages. 2 is figured out, but the idea of a very thin chinstrap makes me uncomfortable. 3 is not figured out at all but would be the most visible on the progress pictures.
I need at least 5 phases (one per week + starting point), but ideally more.
Any tips/ideas?
Are there any obvious inspirations in current fashion for the Neomilitarist style?
Playing for the first time and I chose the corpo and loving the style so much when walking in the city center. I am not talking about the more military stuff like Arasaka guards, but rather the kind of outfit sported by Meredith Stout and the Peralez.
I tried to look for people involved in that specific character design on ArtStation, but there seem to be none, and anyway I don't know if it would be possible for me to come in contact with them.

Does an M.2 Wifi card (Intel Killer WiFi 6E AX1690i) need an external antenna?
I need to add Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity to my PC which is built on an ASROCK Phantom Gaming D5 mobo. Before buying I checked on this resource from ASROCK website and the adapter is meant to be fully compatible and a specification of a 2T2R antenna is matching it (which I until now assumed would be an internal feature.
I installed the adapter and the latest drivers and the device is recognized as both a Bluetooth device and a Wi-Fi adapter, but:
The Motherboard Manual (page 11) states that there are 3 x Antenna Mounting Points on the Rear panel, which I think I have identified as 3 holes to be punched out from the panel, but the
Maniac (2018, Netflix) is set in an alternate cassette futurism present.

No Bluetooth device detected by Intel ax1690i on Windows 11
I have just installed my new Intel Killer Wi-fi 6E ax 1690i on my ASRock Phantom Gaming 4/D5 and, while the wifi works wonderfully, I cannot detect any Bluetooth device, even after updating to the latest intel Bluetooth driver. I am on Windows 11 and am testing trying to connect my Jabra Elite 3, but anyway my phone detects a plethora of devices from my neighbors.
Is this a known issue and does anyone have any tips on what to try to solve it?
Thanks in advance.
