  • That would be knowingly directly facilitating an actual murder. The decorative swastika is NOT a weapon. That's a big difference from facilitating an idiot who doesn't understand that he is destroying his brand image by advocating for a hate group. The only thing he is murdering is his career.

  • I had a long drawn out argument with a guy who insisted that HitlerPig was saying that the "tattoo" was just labelling his other tattoos, despite his original post clearly calling it a tattoo, and multiple sunsequent statements insisting it was a tattoo.

Obviously it wasn't a tattoo, and this guy was insistent that HitlerPig never claimed it was, when he did, over and over, and here he is, still sticking to it.

The point is that these people believe whatever nonsense they make up is the truth, despite all evidence to the contrary.

"Dont bother me with facts, my mind's made up."

  • I like a smooth, pureed salsa. I first fell in love with the salsa at Luchita's, in Cleveland, 40 years ago, but Inhavent had it in over 25 years, since I left Cleveland. Its one of the few things I miss about Cleveland.

Recently, I found Wllie's, a smooth salsa in several varieties, and it is the closest I've found to Luchita's. Its a perfect clone, as near as I can remember.

  • Me, too. 12 year account, 900K+ Karma. I was looking forward to crossing the million mark this year.

At first I was concerned about having fewer people on Lemmy, but for things like Politics, the quality of discourse is far higher than Reddit. Every Reddit post is filled with puns, idiots, trolls, Russian propaganda farmers, etc., all of which are far smaller or non-existent on Lemmy.

I still miss Reddit's active guitar subs, though.

  • We can't count on these losers. It's eventually going to come down to us to fix this, using the 2nd Amendment and guerilla tactics.

IF we ever have elections again, Democratic collaborators should be aggressively primaried. The only Dems that should get votes should be those who pledge to agressively prosecute Nazi crimes, and purge MAGA from the government and society.

  • What's happening is that incompetence now rules every government department/agency, including the military, and now it is trickling down and affecting the rank & file. This is about Hegseth's leadership.

HitlerPig will never fire him, because Hegseth has pledged that he will turn the military on protesting American citizens, who are only exercising their 1st Amendment rights. He will also authorize the use of nuclear weapons when HitlerPig demands it, even if it is on a Blue Sanctuary City...ESPECIALLY if its on a Blue Sanctuary City.

  • No country is going to be welcoming to refugees from a shithole country like America, and our notorious reputation for arrogance isn't going to work on our favor.

If you have a lot of money, or have an in-demand skill, perhaps they'll take you, but any American in a new country is going to face the same difficulties that immigrants in America face - discrimination, crime, exploitation, difficulty in finding jobs, bigotry, etc.

Better to stay in America and fight back.

  • I have a close friend from Venezuela, who was a warded citizenship on December, so she thinks she's safe. I'm keeping quiet, because I don't want to scare her, but Venezuelans, who used to enjoy a special immigration privileges in America because their country was being led by a rogue dictator, has become one of the most demonized groups in America.

The MAGA Nazis don't respect anything, and having a green card or even citizenship isn't going to save anyone. They want to deport people who were actually BORN here, they definitely want to kick out every person that was born elsewhere.

  • Well, his wealth wasn't exactly liquid, it was mostly tied up in wilderness land.

Fortunes in those days weren't in bank accounts, or stocks, or index funds, etc. They tended to be tied up in assets like land, slaves, crops, etc., and cold hard cash/gold, stored in a box somewhere, like under the floor.

  • That is a DoJ POLICY, not a law, nor is it in the Constitution. It has never really been tested, everybody has just gone along with it all these years. SCOTUS gave the president immunity, but with a loophole: it has to be part of his presidential duties. It could be argued that arresting opponents for doing their Constitutionally-mandated jobs is NOT within the President's duties, and therefore he would not be immune. Same with doing things like ordering the military to fire on American protesters exercising their 1st Amendment rights. It will be up to SCOTUS to decide, and they've already shown that they wont rubber-stamp his nonsense.

If he starts arresting SCOTUS justices, they arent likely to find in his favor for ANYTHING.
