Dots!

  • I think it was when we got to toxic metals and radioactive elements that chemists where forced to stop tasting their discoveries.

I hope it went: Safety person: Hey! Stop tasting any elements or new molecules. It's been getting people severely sick or killed!

Chemist: "Ugh, fine, but ima bitch about it the whole time"

  • I remember helping my cousin with his ADV bike. He just needed an extra pair of hands, but he always talked through what he was doing or had me read the manual for torque and clearance. Man, I should get a bike.

  • There was a committee hearing out the public on a bathroom bill. When a trans man said this bill is stupid would you want me to go to the women's bathroom when I look like this(he was very muscular and a full beard), the committee head and author of the proposed bill short circuited. The guy explained under the bill he would have to go use the women's bathroom or risk arrest.

The asshole committee head couldn't wrap his head around it. Why do these bigots always forget about trans men? Even after explaining that he was a woman that transitioned to a man and that's why he's a trans man, the asshole was just sputtering and failing to say anything coherent. The whole room was just laughing at him. He eventually dropped the bill less than an hour later.

    YSK Richard Jewell - Wikipedia

A security guard that found a bomb and saved many lives at Olympic Park in Atlanta during the Olympics in 1996. After an FBI leak, the media effectively claimed him as the culprit.

A Justice Department investigation of the FBI's conduct found that the FBI had tried to cause Jewell to waive his constitutional rights by telling him he was participating with a training movie about bomb detection, although the report concluded "no intentional violation of Mr. Jewell's civil rights and no criminal misconduct" had occurred.

At a press conference in July 1997, U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno expressed personal regret concerning the leak that resulted in intense media scrutiny of Jewell. She said, "I'm very sorry it happened. I think we owe him an apology. I regret the leak.

It's something we should be aware of due to current events and major newspapers owned by billionaires.
