So an effort we been plugging away at recently is starting to bring AI tooling to Open Source desktop applications. Our first effort in this regard is Granite.code. Granite.code is a extension for Visual Studio Code that sets up a local AI engine on your system to help with various tasks including code generation and chat inside Visual Studio Code.
You got to be kidding me. Is there no other use for AI other than for coding? They could have added more useful AI like a better autocorrection/suggestion algorithm in the virtual keyboard or maybe better algorithm for image processing on cameras
@[email protected] the notification for this reply was in French for some reason. The interface language settings is selected as auto-detect, and since everything else was in English, I thought it meant it would select the system language (English in my case).
Piefed is adding some great features recently
I was looking for something like this in gtk for some time now.

Why do we still have blasphemy laws?
I hope this is not a spoiler:
From the manga what I can tell is that there is a repetitive pattern of exciting few chapters followed by not so exciting new chapters.
Stick with the story, it will be worth it.
I really liked discord's spoiler tag. I wish they implemented something similar here.
I wish I could hide anything with a spoiler tag. I mostly read the manga, and anything I say will be a huge spoiler for the anime folks.

January show, March upload, Sunday night raid: Mumbai club’s fall after Kunal Kamra’s joke
Weeks after it made headlines for being the venue of podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia’s remarks, the Habitat Comedy Club in Mumbai now stands shut following vandalism, two FIRs and a political controversy surrounding Kunal Kamra’s performance at the venue.
Kamra had taken a jibe at defection politics in Maharashtra, among other subjects, with a modified version of a Bollywood song that appeared to reference Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. But hours after he uploaded a video clip from his show on YouTube on Sunday, scores of Shiv Sena workers descended on the venue and vandalised it during another performance.
Inside the ‘manosphere’ that’s luring young Indian men and boys
Her husband had spent the day helping his family prepare an elaborate sadhya (feast) for Onam, smugly pointing out at the dining table that the mango curry was “all him”. Those at the table soon broke into a mock argument over who made what, but his son let out a snort of derision.
“This is nothing to be proud of, acha (father). You are being a beta,” the 12-year-old said.
Andrew Tate is just one member of the sprawling online ecosystem of ‘manfluencers’ that profits off men’s anxieties and promotes a distorted brand of masculinity as a solution.

What are your thoughts on xmpp? Recently I have come to like a lot and am pretty active with friends there.
Wholeheartedly disagree that Communist party ruling was the reason they prospered. But India does need an Education reform at the lower stages, and not the kind BJP has proposed.
Not gonna lie, I like the new punishment for juvenile offense.

Jio announces deal to bring Starlink to India just hours after similar Airtel partnership
Reliance Jio has partnered with SpaceX to offer Starlink to its customers in India just hours after Airtel's partnership.
Honestly, instead of bringing starling to India, Jio should start making their cell service better for indoor coverage. Also, with how much pollution Starlink causes, I would never use it.
Affordable public transport is a right, not a privilege
Delhi youth demand affordable and efficient public transport for a sustainable future.
The Climate March 2025, organised by COHAS and led by the Public Transport Forum saw hundreds rallying from Chatth Ghat, ITO, calling for urgent policy reforms to ensure better, more accessible urban mobility.
