  • I think they mean that content addiction (which we generally see in a negative light and has negative consequences) is fed by content creation (which we usually see in a positive light and is something that gets encouraged).

  • Given how many lanes Houston’s highways already have I’m starting to wonder if the cars are the ones in charge there.

  • If this works out it’ll eventually take more than that. For example, if you’re accustomed to charging your phone on your nightstand and using it as an alarm clock, you’ll probably have to stop. Or if you ride the train or bus to work and nap along the way, you’ll do it without your earbuds in. And ANY smart device with a speaker in your bedroom will eventually be ripe for abuse, whether it’s a phone, smart mirror, TV, gaming system, etc.

  • So you’ve never fallen asleep thinking “I’d really love to dream about X tonight”?

  • Humans? Nope. Some kind of actual AGI that doesn’t care about long time scales and can be lashed to a metal rich asteroid and flung out of the solar system? Still probably not, but it could maybe make it to some interesting intra-galactic destinations.

  • My kids had a scouts "camping" trip here one year. Very surreal at night.

  • I think this is looking up at the shark tank (which is on the roof) at the Frost Science Museum in Miami. If it’s not, it’s something that looks exactly like looking up at the shark tank (which is on the roof) at the Frost Science Museum in Miami.

  • Put an NSFW tag on this!

  • Ah, should have guessed it was a Reddit thing 🙂

  • They should have vibe-coded their accounting.

  • Neat ! What’s the reason for the influx of new users?

  • It was also hacked almost immediately, having apparently been vibe-coded into existence.

  • Unfriended, right?

  • I your growing medium always as wet as it is in the photo? If so, it should be less wet.

  • Everything about this is nuts, but a special lol Kamala Harris on the far-left.

  • Damn that last 30 minutes went HARD. I got chills.

  • To me it sounded like someone was trying to manipulate the video or the findings or something. They could have gone with the much more straightforward "researchers observe signs of tool use in cow", but they didn't.

  • I think they make a distinction between acting on an object and merely using the environment. The first requires more agency, I guess.

  • Yeah the title is clickbaity for sure.
