  • Every time someone vouches for ai to make “art” all i hear is “AI sets you free.” Not good, indeed very odd stuff.

The volume on my radio is a little too loud to fall asleep to.

I’d turn it off if not for the unexplained paralysis and the demonic, crackling voice from the speaker telling me “Don’t touch that dial.”

  • Heck yess!! They need to put these back into production. That’s exactly what I got one for. 🥹 I love it.

  • This is awesome, thank you for making this! _

  • It truly does get hard to tell after a certain point, though. People get mentally fatigued when “it’s just a joke bro” has been said the millionth time. And when crazy awful oligarchs with too much money are backing that joke. I’m tired.

  • I’m tired.

Anyone can make art if they want. I’ll just keep saying it. Look at Hyperbole comics, Cyanide and Happiness, folk art—you already know the spiel. There are classist traditions in some art spaces but you don’t have to participate in them. We have outsider art. We have fringe subcultures and movements.

I’ll be honest, it’s hard to tell if anything is a joke anymore. I thought Trump was a joke and he’s in the White House now... blame the autism.

  • All this is doing is making me want to subscribe to their news site even more. The White House doesn’t realize the effect they’re having. Everytime they disparage something, that is a sign that the thing they hate is good, not bad, and probably helpful.

  • Thank you so much for this. I always appreciate a good detailed post like this. I have mainly GI related chronic illness, but also lots of fatigue, so these things always help.

  • Struggling not to act on my impulses all the time, doing foolish things before thinking and not being able to go more than a brief period without embarrassing myself. I thought everyone dealt with impulse control issues. Oh hey Adhd, nice to see you.

  • Dude, you can still come over. As a Canadian you have my permission. Yes, glad to see other folks said something good about Lemmy.ca. It is nice. I agree. :)

  • I love them so much. Their head also kind of looks like a chocolate ice cream sandwich. What a neat lil guy.

  • The part of my brain that feels joy has been activated, thank you.

  • This is amazing. Thank you so much!! You put a lot of work into this list. It's excellent. I'm bookmarking it. :)

  • I've heard there's been an uptick in cancers in people under the age of fifty. The doctors still try to push the idea that you're too young to get this or that cancer if you're not a certain age, but they need to update that information. Things have changed. A much wider scope of people are prone to illness nowadays than we once were-or than was reported. I'm really sorry you were dealt this awful card, but I'm glad you finally got answers after all that time.

  • Holy crap, the entire wheat family! I'm so sorry. But I'm glad you got answers. Aw man, I hope that isn't what this is I'm dealing with. But I will still be grateful to have answers whatever they turn out to be.

    Chronic illness vent

I have been dealing for years with stomach and gastric issues.

It blows my mind that I went nearly a decade of my life without ever having any kind of stomach illness other than the kind of "knots in stomach" triggered by stress.

Now, for the last half decade or so, it's just this constant cycle of getting beaten up behind the dumpster after school by my bully stomach.

I just need this shit to stop. My sanity is waning.

    Process of comic featuring walrus

https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/23013198 from this comic. I only remembered to take some screenshots but forgot. The walrus was fun, I love adding tiny details.

    Alice will slay the jabberwocks

This is my first ever comic in procreate. I'll post screenshots in a separate post because I barely know how to use technology, I can draw and that's it. :') I'm doin my best.

This is a fan art of sorts, my headcanon of Alice (from Alice in Wonderland) grown up and living life happily somewhere in an unknown timeline with Patel. I want to do more comics about them, and more art in general. Happy Transgender Awareness Month. 🏳️‍⚧️

    My first post here

I see that this is not a very active place but I am currently dealing with the process of migrating from web 2 areas such as Reddit. And I'm also dealing with addictions and a sleep disorder. So, I will make it a habit to post here now and again. I'm grateful to the person that made this space.

I have audhd and am an asexual nonbinary person. I have multiple interests and don't really know what to do with myself because of it. Nothing I like goes together. I have several different interests, different things I want to draw. Sometimes I want to draw crude nsfw art, other times I want to draw cute cozy art, other times I want to draw a furry character, other times I want to draw creepy art, other times I want to try a new illustrative or indie art style I just recently discovered.

I like the raccoon. The raccoon represents this uncontrollable urge to dig through the trash and scrounge up all the things, do all the things. The raccoon is scattered like me.

    Some other weird details: I
