Then Netscape took over and eventually faltered allowing Microsoft to take over with Internet Explorer. It was great at first until it wasn’t and people started creating web pages that only worked with IE. Later came Flash and Silverfail. Both have luckily disappeared.
Today we have Chrome, Firefox, Edge and then there’s @vivaldibrowser and other user friendly browsers. We have come a long way and yet we are in many ways back where it started.
