  • Essentially the author is taking aim at the plausibility of humans using psychadelics throughout history and time on the veracity of the historic and fossil records.

Which is fine. Because most of the ideas are derived from interpretations of scant bits of evidence to begin with. The whole narrative is much closer to a group of friends theorizing what the first ape to consume psilocybin may have felt than scientists and historians enshrining a proven theory. But I think the author gets a little stuck by not really accepting most all of these theories are predicated as fanciful and speculative.

Stoner culture isn't the same as the medical marijuana resesrch. But the former is quite marketable in its own right. Same thing here.

  • New Bag!

  • Kibble bags tend to be the best storage space but they need to seal closed. A bag in a sealed container is your best bet for maintaining fresh.

The fats and essential vitamins and nutrients are sprayed onto kibble and that's the first thing exposed to go bad. A little subtle rancidity is detectable to cats.

If you dump kibble into a plastic pin: thosr rancid fats can leach into the plastic and remain there tainting all subsequent kibble with at least the odor of rancidity.

If a bag sits open unsealed for a week it'll be stale as all hell and much less healthy.

  • The house bill was sponsored by a Pennsylvania Democrat and a Florida Republican.

Amy Klobuchar and Ted Cruz introduced the Senate version.

It's bipartisan and criticism is levelled at the opposition for doing bipartisanship: the chronic problematic condition the Democrats put themselves into while in the minority.

  • It isn't about remembering names, it's about being willing to use the correct one when informed. Exchange pronouns for proper names to test the concept.

If you forget someone's name and you think it is 'Pat' but it is actually 'Kelly' would you continue to call them 'KellyPat'after remembering that it is 'PatKelly'?

*Edit: I love that I mixed myself up even in my example. But to prove my point I'll call the correction out and be fine with that.

  • At least per Lenin the line is about socialist principles already being realized by the proletariat. The other principle is "equal amount of product for an equal amount of labor" which Lenin felt also was realized in our/his time. He then goes on to focus on how to supplant the bourgeoise system that defies these principles by allowing unequal products for unequal labor and for workers to starve.

So really Bezos and Musk should be stating 'Workers starve' for it to really fit Lenin's context the way I remember it.

Dunno about Stalin though. He might've had a different view from bathing in the rivers of Nazi blood.

  • It says 'unarmed' but it doesn't clarify if you're unprotected. I assume not and you're in the standard issue Spandex shorts of fighting. So I would likely bleed out as a result of everything past rat, which is hardly a victory.

I had a wounded squirrel I thought my cat had killed lacerate the fuck out of my arm once. My cat would not have been as stopped at the tendon like that squirrel. And she knew it.
