There was this older 90's (I think?) game I loved but I can't figure out the name or find it, despite some googling. You played the part of someone piloting a drone on a space station that had a viral outbreak. The virus alerted the DNA of the victims that the automated security system could no longer identify them as friendlies and so went on a killing spree. You're trying to find video clips from the inhabitants, collecting DNA samples, very point and click adventure with neat animated scenes with FMV. If this rings a bell or if anyone knows it, let me know!

I use Beeper. There is a bit of a setup process adding the different chat networks but there's next to no maintenance in my experience. It pretty much just works.

Trouble with Sea of Thieves
A while back my son was playing Sea of Thieves quite successfully on the Steam Deck. He was away for a while so I uninstalled it to save some space. Now he's back and wanted to play again so I reinstalled the game. Only now it doesn't ever load to the menu successfully. It starts to load, shows the wheel in the bottom right, shows the Rare and other logos, then goes back to showing the wheel in the bottom right. Only it never gets any further. The wheel is spinning still and the game doesn't appear to have locked up. I've tried different versions of Proton (experimental, GE) but the issue is the same. Anyone else run into this or have any ideas? I have made sure to do basic troubleshooting like restarting and what not. Any help is appreciated!
