And the doujin's surprisingly depressing. It's about a hikikomori that struggled to integrate back to society (and has some random dude taking advantage of her depressed state for sex, that's as much sex as there is in a h-doujin). A social worker/someone paid to help her also (it is implied) jumps alongside her int he end.
That scene above is probably what they saw as they were jumping to their deaths.
The last page bereft of any dialogue showing her cleaned room after her death hits similar to 177013 "looking into the cracked glass mirror" scene. Really felt like the artist said "screw the sex, I want to draw a good story about the struggles depressed hikis face in society and what their lives could end up like" and did an amazing job.
Judging by the comments, that scene left a huge impact on coomers that just went there to fap, too. It impressed me enough to make a meme about it, and here you are.

It's sad to see the usually cheerful bunny sad.
Inspired by a similar thread I've previously made for a good game studio... that later rebranded.
I didn't watch Aqua much, but she always got along well with those that I did (e.g. Pekora), so it sucks to see her go. The strength of a Vtuber company/corp is in its people's bonds - indies may have more freedom, but they can't easily find other talented comedians or entertainers to regularly collab with.
These bonds forged can't be easily broken, but neither can they be easily forged... and one wonders where Aqua will go after this.

Out of respect for Japanese "omotenashi", I won't call it greed... I do think most Japanese people would want to maintain a fair and equal pricing structure for all customers. In a better world, if the economy was booming and people were prospering, there might still be some establishments looking to earn more by fleecing and overcharging tourists. It's fine to call that greed, or taking advantage of demand inelasticity, or whatever.
But... here we are. Times are hard, I get it. Even with overcharging under a dual-pricing structure, tourists will probably continue to visit Japan if they can afford it. It's just a shame that the Japanese will probably have to compromise on some aspects of their omotenashi because of greater factors beyond their control.
Maybe by having a dual pricing structure, they'd be able to realize maximum profits. But not everything is calculable in dollars and cents... all you'd need are a few establishments to start vastly overcharging tourists for w
