  • I wish their was more infrastructure designed around walking, it makes me sad to see places that are so car oriented, it makes them ugly and unpleasant compared to city’s and country’s that prioritize walking and promotes a health lifestyle instead of driving and sitting in a car all day

  • 10+ year manager named Joe was apparently fired for bringing cookies to be thrown away before their sell by date to a food pantry in my town

  • There is too much of this in the world, no big corporation is getting hurt by them donating food they just want to keep from helping people and making the world a better place who cares if they bring them cookies they were going to lose money in anyways at least they actually got used!

  • Whenever I can’t seam to catch the fish I want or just want to feel like a good angler I usually just end up going down to my local blue gill pond and fishing for them, makes me feel like quite the angler after I keep throwing them back again and again.

  • I have never heard of that rule before but I love the idea, I will def final start to implement that into my reading because I have stuck through books longer than I needed to and took me too long to realize I didn’t care to read them!

  • It’s one of those series where you just have to sit back and tell yourself that he’s the main character and just enjoy it and not over analyze it , I’ve heard some people argue that Carl is a Mary sue but I disagree and think that he’s just the main character.

  • dCC is not my usual type of read but I am genuinely so glad I started reading it. There are so many things about it I have come to really enjoy and it has shot to top becoming one of my favorite book series of all time, I would highly recommend even if you have already read the books to listen to audiobook narrated by Jeff Hayes he does such an amazing job with both Carl and donut and is very talented.

  • So far I am a very big fan of storm light! That being said what I have noticed and talking to a couple people is that he uses a lot of set up and build up which really makes the conclusions worth it but i feel you definitely have to will yourself to get through it atleast in my case but still thoroughly enjoyable!

    The funny thing is I started the series thinking that wind and truth was the last one because I didn’t want to wait for more books only to find out that there are five more coming out! But very grateful I have the five of part one to read through without waiting.

  • Project Hail Mary is at the top of my list to read next before the movie comes out soon. Glad to hear someone says they enjoyed it. Haven't read The Martian. I have heard a lot of people talk about it. Do you recommend it?

  • Finished rereading The River Why by David James Duncan, a personal favorite of mine, definitely not for everybody, but a good read nonetheless.

    Currently moving onto Oathbringer in the Stormlight Archives after a short break after Words of Radiance. very excited to get back into it!

    After that, I am going to start the Mistborn series, which I have only heard good things about.

  • I Just finished the 5th Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinnimen immediately started the 6th. Absolutely loving the series so far and am trying to get caught up for the new book in May, super excited! Along with that i'm about halfway through Golden Son by Pierce Brown, second book in the Red Rising series which is another awesome series. would love more book suggestion always up for reading new series if anyone has some suggestions.
