Mark's sister Phillis was tried for the actual act of poisoning; she was convicted and burned alive.
Jfc, they didnât even have a "reason" they just wanted her to suffer

Researchers believe the shift to Linux malware is due to improvements in Windows endpoint security. As a result, threat actors are exploring new attack avenues, increasingly focusing on exploiting flaws in internet-facing systems, most of which run on Linux.
I donât get the reasoning here⊠these servers ran Linux before so what has that to do with Windows endpoints?
Broken comment images
Images that have been proxied by another instance break when I try to view them on here. As far as I could gather lemmy tries to proxy them again and that doesnât work creating broken links like:

What getting no couch does to a mf

Not something I expected to look up today Context

I really donât get why I should use anything else than dd

Hands down the best is FairEmail
Image proxying on infosec.pub
I noticed our instance got updated to lemmy 0.19.5 which means image proxying is now available. Since itâs a privacy preserving measure and also (in case of catbox) really helps with loading times I would really like this feature. I am not quite sure but as far as I can tell it is not enabled at the moment. Does anyone know if it is planned to be used in the future?
Also I donât know where instance related announcements and news are posted so Iâd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

I need some recommendations
I am relatively new to Star Trek. I have watched strange New Worlds, the Lower Decks and Discovery and want to watch some of the âolderâ memed shows from this sub. I could never really get into TOS because it's just too old. What would you guys recommend to watch first to get really into it?
