More power to you Paula White. I, nor my friends, will ever do anything like that. We are of the mentality that people form partnerships rather than a domination/submission relationship. Good luck to you though. I hope it makes your happy.
Well, the individual experience for hell being empty could be awful. Alternatively, if he means that there is nobody in hell (thus it is empty) that would be a wonderful thought for most humans. But, when you think of guys like Hitler, Himler, Bormann, Göring, Saddam, the Kims, and Trump, I hope that hell is where they end up. Like, hell being empty would be ideal, for most. But, there are some who are so evil that there is no other choice for them. But, if he means that hell is just being alone, would that really be so awful? I, for one, like being left alone.
Right: Genocide ALL undesirables without due process.
Left: Genocide nobody without due process.
Centrist: Clearly there is middle ground. So, lets genocide some people without due process.
Anyone have the background link explaining this?
That's who I was thinking of when I first had the thought. Thanks for the reminder
The ones pushing the lies and propaganda, we’re going after them
While lies are tortuously liable (grounds for civil recovery rather than a crime), criminally punishing propaganda and speech would be a textbook violation of the First Amendment.
*Edit: I thought money was speech

Evil has a way to endure. Just look at Mitch McConnell.
This is what brought me to lemmy
Samsies. Reddit is bending the knee to big money
When he stops targeting an entire group of people with the ad hominem that they're all child predators, I'll stop calling him Elmo.
He'd probably lift them for the "correct" people (read as those who agree with him).
It seems Lemmy is where Reddit was 10 years ago.
Reddit is a publicaly traded company, and fElon has more money that countries. So, he could literally just buy Reddit and turn it into a propaganda machine. Glad I left. There are some UI stuff that I will miss (like having sub-reddits as a fast-access at the top of the page, or that replies to a posting on Reddit would be indented, or /r/place), but I'll survive here.
