To come to a conclusion that CIA is communist must have been a hell of a ride...

Haha it's the final boss of the right-wing storyline (it wears ushanka)

I'm happy to <3

LGBTQ+ hiveminid 😳

Yess, I do!

Happy to read that! 🫂

I'd like to thank you
Hey,
I just thought I'd drop in to say thank you for being here. I'm not participating much or reading everyday, but I've been lurking for quite some time - registered on Lemmygrad around 3+ years ago (?) using different account. It was not the first, but still one of the first spaces (online or not) that encouraged me progress past that pseudo-anarchist vibe-based mindset I had, get some more interest in reading and challenge my worldview as a whole.
I find it a bit funny that that simple "stupid" registration question was probably the first time that I had to sit down with my own thoughts and ask myself "what REALLY is gender"? And now, couple years later and a lot of personal stuff behind me - here I am, transitioning in full force and finally feeling alive. It's rather tough but I don't feel dead inside anymore. I believe it would inevitably happen anyway but it probably made things "click" a bit earlier.
Just finished my workout and getting ready to copy that book about Stalin

Thank you! It'll get it a read now

I don't live in the US (I forgot it's always assumed until stated otherwise...!). It doesn't seem drastically different than how it works in my country but I can't be sure, I avoid loans like my life depended on it. Thanks for the advice though

My digestive system is very picky and I find it easier to schedule a couple hours during the day when I can risk some mild discomfort or sluggishness rather than snack all day and feel so-so all the time (: but rice, veggies and unprocessed meat / small amount of diary is generally safe.
Thanks for the advice. I will stick to webby things for now

Oh, I'll definitely research the creatine stuff today because you got me intrigued (: thanks for the comment and good luck to you too

Thanks, especially for the second half

Thank you for all the suggestions

I'd appreciate a little advice
Hey there
I sincerely hope all me comrades are having a nice day
I've been in a somewhat not amazing situation for quite some time (not best mentally, in transitioning and unemployed again), thought I'd ramble a bit and ask for a little advice. I despise almost every job I get and years of constant stress are ruining my physical and mental health to the point where I struggle to keep on going at all. I don't want money from anyone here but I'm trying to figure out how I could fill my budget before I stabilize a bit more and will be able to keep a job which should happen later in the summer.
A friend suggested a free psychological counseling available here where I live which might be a good start.
I'm getting a little bit of income that pays for ~40% of my room rent and receive some help from the family (mostly food). I generally stick to intermittent fasting and get ready to sell some music gear I don't use much. I used to make some small money doing side gigs (physical labor) or

Interesting, I assumed that this is an extremely wild exaggeration.

During my stay in Netherlands (two two three years in total for different temporary jobs) I just loved big cities like Amsterdam: amazing people, queer culture, a lot of neat things! Some small towns were surprisingly horrible and conservative, though. There were situations that really shocked me and trashed my idealized expectations. It was such a mixed bag

I just looked it up online and found a 1 year old reddit thread with discussion about it and quite some people cheering for israel, wtf

TIL about Soviet Union top-level domain - .su (:
I just found out about the official top-level Soviet Union domain that is still in use today!
It seems that since 2022 you can't register new .su domain names and it's future is uncertain. Still, I think it's cool that it exsits to this day (:
A nice example would be that sovietwave internet radio: https://sovietwave.su/
Just a curiosity I wanted to share with me comrades
