Broadcom on Wednesday closed its $69 billion acquisition of cloud-computing firm VMware after receiving regulatory approval in last major market China and ending a months-long saga.

You're right, it's a real estate trust.
There's a term for repeating merely what someone says: hearsay. In no way should that be considered news or journalism.
Good journalism would be not quoting and repeating unsubstantiated claims at all.
Unless you're going to write an article saying "spokesman makes wild and unsubstantiated claims at press conference".
True, they're not targeting civilians. They're just killing everyone indiscriminately. Hell, they've even killed Israelis.
Maybe, but that's not how the article is framed.
Personally, I don't think someone spouting off should be repeated. Good journalism would be investigating and verifying the claim.
Objection, speculation.
FirstEnergy? They're named seven separate times in the article.
Right, but if you bring it up in a discussion forum, expect people to discuss it.
Thanks Mr. Betteridge
Management jobs are rarely union, since they're the ones making the rules.
Just give them access to it now? There shouldn't be any issue with it continuing to be available or a while if you should get hit by a bus.
primebuy looks like a ripoff of amazon, insight looks legit, but you'll probably get what your order from either site
I'd fight a bezoar. What's the CR?
There are certainly real-life analogues. Pearls and ambergris, for example. I can't think of any official material about it off the top of my head, but your table, your rules!
Anything in the Jellyfin logs?
Now? The writing was on the wall years ago. Support has already taken a nosedive, and they've basically all but stopped selling anything except to the biggest customers.
You should consider opnsense instead of pfsense in any case.

Where did the vote buttons on the left in dense view go
I had vote buttons on the left in dense post view. Then I went fiddling with the view settings and they disappeared after changing views, and I don't see which option brings them back. Am I just an idiot and can't see it?

1.0.84 beta: comment reply button does nothing
Just as the title says. I tap it, nothing happens. Tried on a bunch of different comments. The FAB to add a top-level comment still works though. I don't see any update in the Play store, and no change when I cleared storage for the app.
User elon_musk is mod of (has created?) 70 communities, but doesn't appear to be active in any of them
I'm mostly concerned about https://lemmy.world/c/newhampshire because I'm from there, but they're on a range of location and interest communities. Where's the line for community mod-squatting?
Is this community going to be about organizing and taking action, or just memes and screenshots of tweets?
I'm all for reforming our current work system, but we need organized action. Can we make that happen here? Or is there a different community for that?
