Nineteen Tasmanians banned from public native forestry estate after logging protests | ABC News
19 Tasmanians have received indefinite bans from entering any of the state's public native forestry estate — an area covering 812,000 hectares.
It follows protests against native logging near Takayna/Tarkine, but most of the protesters live locally, and say the bans will impact their lives.

Pod of orcas trapped in drift ice off Japanese coast
Footage aired by the Japanese broadcaster NHK shows a pod of orcas, also known as killer whales, apparently trapped in drift ice off the coast of Hokkaido. At least 10 were seen poking out of a small gap in the surface and struggling for air.
I mean, sure, but I feel it probably wasn't the greatest unmasking. Some of the stuff was just plain ignorant and embarrassing ... for the lawmakers. Like this exchange with the Tik Tok CEO. I feel like they probably don't really understand what they are up-in-arms about. 🤷♀️
Epic lost their case with Apple regarding Fortnite, yet now Epic are looking to make Fortnite available on iOS in EU. But from the article it seems an alternate "app marketplace" would still need Apple approval anyway. It will be interesting to see how all this is going to work.
