  • When last could a family in America raise two kids, have a stay at home parent, buy a house send them to college and still save for retirement on a single teachers salary. Most of the Abby boomers had that.

    Not sure what Zelensky hopes to get in South Africa. South Africa no longer has an arms industry. Maybe it's looking to setup deals with South African mining companies to invest in Ukraine post war.

    They are just a smarter, wiser business with a sustainable business model that understands the importance of consumer trust.

  • Yes, Predictable release cadence is also important.

    Manufacturers have to validate that it is going to continue working and remain supported. Rolling releases are basically impossible to accommodate in that process.

    It's also likely that Canonical is providing free assistance to them, in order to secure enterprise contracts on the other end.

    How about making single income middle class families possible again, so you can have one stay at home parent.
