Yea of course it is a "software" feature every motor in a ev is controlled by software that switches power electronics. "Dissconnecting" the phases of the motor so it wont recoup while is spins is still neutral. Or is "neutral" only a thing that a automatic transmission can do? If i put my manual out of gear is it then not in neutral? People dont want the manufacturer to install a clutch to physicly dissconnect the motors from the drivetrain but they want to be able to let the car roll without it braking by recharging the battery or dumping the power as heat into the powerstage.

And by the way yes most evs still habe gears just with a fixed ratio because if the motor was directly connected to your axle full motor rpm would be way faster than your max road speed you can drive.

Also the time it would take to build new power plants and get them to run would be something lile 20-25 years. We dont have that much time to get a grip on climate change so it doesnt matter annyways. Either we get 100% renewables untill then or we are fucked annyways.

If you need to supply your rural area or town you will go from some 20kv lines down to lots of 3kv and then 400v lines with multiple transformers everywhere. Dc transmission doesnt make sense here, but supplying a grid from really far away with a single line? Yea.

Yea have fun transmitting a decent amount of power with 240v over a meaningfull distance. Also most generators produce ac anyways so why would you recitify it at the generator instead of your device after a transformer? You still need all kinds of different voltages everywhere in your electronics and this means you still need to regulate it.

I am not shure how the american wirering worls out but to get from 240 to 120 you still need a transformer... or is it 240v between the different phases and then 120 from phase to neutral?

I dont know how you would stretch the definition of cpu in form of discrete components but yea current processors also stray from the definition of a alu and a control unit and registers since people call the different cores cpus. But even a Mikrocontroller has a all that.

You need a cpu to run linux. If you just want to rin a "program" you can do that with logic gates and no alu or control unit but that would limit the form of your program to exactly that circuit.

Well the "super computer" argument is just not good because this wasnt an all purpose computer. This was specially build for this task. There are tons of special purpose chips today that wont be able to do general purpuse computing but crush a beefy pc in special tasks. Video encoding for example or tons of other tasks.

Es gibt ne menge kinder die einfach ne menge energie haben. Ne zugfahrt ist auch für viele dieser kinder einfach "viel" ne menge anderer leitenund es ist generell viel zu sehen. Wenn du mal mit kindern zu tun hast die nicht auf der ruhigen seite des spektrums liegen merkst du schnell, dass ganz schön viel Energie in sso einem kleinen menschen steckt. Das hat oft einfach nichts mit Erziehung zu tun sondern damit, dass kinder nicht im selben rahmen wie ausgewachsene menschen mit ihrer Energie umgehen können. Du bist doch selbst das beste beispiel dafür, dass sogar viele erwachsene sich kicht in die Situation von anderen reinversetzten können. Das können kinder je nach Stufe der entwicklung halt noch viel weniger bis gar nicht. Der punkt von "ich muss still sein weil ich sonst jemandeen nerve" verstehen kinder oft noch nicht so intrinsisch wie das bei erwachsenen ist. Da geht das eigene Bedürfnis vor. Ich habe eine nichte die ununterbrochen redet, das hat nichts mit erziehung zu tun sondern damit , dass die sich einfach mitteilen MUSS ich war als kind auf der anderen seite des spektrums und konnte stundenlang einfach mit kiemandem reden solange ich eon comic lese oder beim autofahren aus dem fenster schaue, das geht bei ihr einfach nicht.

Also ja zieh dir halt Kopfhörer auf und entspann dich, die Chancen stehen gut, dass du als Erwachsener ständig mit Zeug andere Leute in deinem Alltag nervst und die auch nicht sofort denken "ohh hätten die Eltern die Person mal richtig erzogen". Kinder sind halt einfach noch nicht fertige menschen, das hirn ist noch nicht im selben zustand wie bei einem Erwachsenen, klar gibt es bessere eltern und schleechtere aber kinderlärm ist jetzt auch nicht soo schlimm und man kann relativ einfach damit umgehen.

The crowdstrike driver got its updates via microcode. Think off the driver as a engine that runs code from a file. The druver was signed but the code it exevuted was broken. I dont know how vanguard handels updates but i guess they take a similar approach as crowdstroke did and only got their "engine" signed but kot the actual code that the driver executes. Else they need to resign their driver every time they donupdates and that wouöd be costry and slow.

Youtube makes bank with hatret just as fox news does. You can bet that all the jzst stop oil clips will be shown to a audience that hates rhem more than people who feel indifferent about them or agree with them. Why?
